“The property is too old & very tired. Needs lots of upgrades. Outside was dirty & unkept, rubbish bins overfilling thru out whole stay. There were mice in side. No coffee, or breakfast foods. . Unusual especially when you fly in late on a Sunday. People usually leave milk, bread, cereal & eggs etc. Two burners didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, some lights didn’t work. Was definitely too expensive for what it was. Although we appreciated you changing our bookings as we had to cancel Xmas……

“We had many problems in the cottage, starting with difficulty getting the key out of the black box. Unable to contact owner or maintenance man on either numbers given. Heater not working, control panel very grimy, freezer shelf badly in need of defrosting, outside back light not working, wood stove not working efficiently because of ashes from previous fires, and no pan or tools to clean it out with. Because heater not working, insufficient wood for wood fire. cobwebs in 2nd bedroom.”

“Fantastic stay at the old miners cottages which have been beautifully restored and updated. Burra has a rich history with many old cottages, railway and copper mine structures to visit. These cottages are in a great spot which is so well kept and maintained, we would highly recommend them.”
