"Every time we come to Portsmouth, we stay at this fabulous boutique hotel. David and Jeremy on reception pretty much seem to run the hotel. They are so kind, very helpful and always happy to have a chat. The rooms are very comfortable and if you get the harbour view rooms, the view of Spinnaker Tower and HMS Warrior is wonderful. With a two minute walk to the Historic Docks in one direction and a five minute walk to Gunwharf Quay in the other, the bus and train station being opposite the hotel too, this place could not be better situated."

"Hotel was good, but there is no air conditioning. This meant that we slept with the windows open, and it was very noisy outside - a combination of neighbours in the evening, workers in the buildings below our windows and in the morning, seagulls at dawn. Found the room to be very hot with four of us in it and only two small fans"

"Location great, staff fantastic , especially the young gentleman who check us in, very professional ! Unfortunately we could t enjoy the bar as it was booked out for a party which was disappointing but a complimentary drink was offered. Stayed in room 1, and was lovely, great bed, lovely decoration, bathroom floor gets slippy so be careful , we did have an issue with the toilet not flushing, and the net curtain in the main window has a hole in it so needs replacing . Breakfast was ok rather than great, a choice of eggs and a bacon or sausage roll , personally I Like a full English when away on a trip . However overall the experience was good and we would stay again."

"It was perfect for our needs. The view is fabulous. The location is great. The flat was clean, comfy, rooms were a good size, kitchen worked well. The loo is on the small side but perfectly functional. They are clear it's on the top floor but I don't think the listing noted that it's 3 sets of windy stairs to get up to. It was fine for us but with small kids or elderly folks it would be a challenge."

"Great property, excellent location and nice views. The property is ample for 4 to 6 people, has all basic things you may need for a short stay. Property is clean and in great condition. Would definetly look to book again. (Few set of stairs to the flat I booked near the top so not suitable for the very elderly of for someone with mobility issues)."
