We had lovely stay and the location is perfect with the town square just a few meters away and a great view of the mountains.

Great reception by owner but room is a 1 star

The owner was quite pleasant and very helpful about the town and where to find popular attractions and ideas on how to spend the time. The room unfortunately was a disappointment. The “what seemed to be” log cabin was creaky and creepy. The linen had a musty smell and the bed creaked badly hindering sleep. The cockroach topped the disappointing night. Room 3 in which we stayed is a 1 star at best. One shower was in the rest room (meaning once you’ve showered the floor of the toilet remained wet) and the other shower looked dingy and so we stayed out of/ avoided it. Maybe the rest of the establishment was better than our room which seriously needs updating for the 3.5 stars we expected.

Rustic, clean, well-equipped and comfortable wooden cabins. Walkable and convenient area. Mountain view.

Location is King

Great location close to town with all you need to be comfortable. We stayed in the White Room which had a good size double bed and two single beds on the porch which was perfect for the kids. Lovely patio with braai over looking the mountain. Good value and great service.
