“The cabin was well located. I enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and overall atmosphere. The driveway was steep but nothing my truck could not handle. Nothing fancy but neither am I. ”

“This cabin likely started as a one room cabin with a loft from around the early to mid 1800s. The bedroom furniture is also from the late 1800s so it makes me think it may have always been there. It's a true relic of Appalachian family living through generations. It was very cool. It also barely had one neighbor you could see and had a nice view. Other historic property elements were the outhouse with a toilet seat from the 1850-1880 period, a later shed that was most likely built early to mid……

We had the pleasure of meeting the host in person when he brought us fire wood and he was very nice. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and meeting the neighboring dogs who were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Cute little cabin, super rustic. Reminds me of staying with my grandparents in the WV mountains. We had an avoidable issue, but the owners were quick to fix it fairly. It's really close to all sorts of hiking, and there were plenty of local places to eat. The hot tub was great for unwinding. The kitchen had pretty much everything you'd need for basic cooking. If you're planning on cooking up a storm, bring your own stuff. What they had was fine for standard meals. The bathroom did its job, kind……

“The cozy cabin met our needs for a de-stressing, unplugging retreat. The hot tub was the game changer. I would label this property as semi-secluded due to two cabins within sight and hearing (sounds travel well on the ridge). Bring everything you need because running back and forth on that remote road is something you only want to do twice (coming and going). The hosts were very responsive and if we'd needed anything, we felt confident they would have made things right quickly. Having said that,……
