"Heather's place was meant to be for several of us, but at the last minute it was just 4 adults, and that was fine - we each had our own level to "live" on - and shared the kitchen upstairs. If you have more than 4 people it gets cozy real quick - especially for eating and bathrooms, but the location was great for attending Hillsdale College graduation. Be ready for steep stairs, and some loud street noise here and there. Overall, it's hard to find good options close to campus, and if you're up...

"There is a lot to like about this property, much of which has been mentioned in other reviews. We particularly enjoyed the deck with the large yard which provided a nice quiet place to relax. But beyond that, for us it was all about the location. It was wonderful after a busy day at MIS to return and have a very comfortable space to stay. The location really is ideal if you ever have the opportunity to visit the racetrack. It was a short 10-15 minute drive with a couple of convenience store...

"From CJ, to the accommodations, to the wonderful small town USA, I loved my trip! The apartment has everything you need for a restful trip. I loved the hot shower with the awesome water pressure. Parking next to the unit was certainly a plus. In fact there are no negatives I could assign to CJ’s place. It’s super quiet, but close to anything you would need from town. CJ was very responsive and a wonderful host. If I am ever in the area again, this will definitely be my first choice."

"Clean, quiet, no issues. Necessities available. Easy access to Jackson, I-94, I-127. Everything worked--almost ~!~! Large bedroom needs some lights. No overhead, one didn't work, other 2 very low wattage bulbs. At least 2 probably a fire hazard. TV has been discussed with owner. Great place with a few upgrades needed ~!~!~!"

"I needed a comfortable place to stay for a few nights. My days were packed so it was really just a place to lay my head. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The unit had a completely functional kitchen and it was very clean. It’s an old building renovated into separate apartments, buts it’s very functional. Floors were uneven in places but that’s expected in such an old building. Bathroom was clean and there was great water pressure in the shower. I will stay here again."

"Really cozy place where owner has made the most of his space. Lots of thoughtful little touches that make you feel at home. Place very well stocked. Owner is a great communicator and very hospitable. Beds super comfy, hot tub a 10+, sunsets amazing ☀️ water cooler was a great way to offset well water. Eagles nest restaurant a short walk away and very fun/great food. Neighborhood beautiful."

"My wife and I spend a nice four day weekend here over the Easter holiday. The place is just as beautiful as in the pics with everything you could need for a stay. Plenty to do in the areas as well, we visited a number of museums, restaurants, and wineries. It was a great trip."
