We had the best time! We will definitely be back. Our kids even made up a song on the way home about “ take me back to the cabin, take me back to the river!” Thank you Kim for all your work and vision for this getaway!

Unique place
The place was unique and had rustic character. While comfortable, the sulfur smell of the water was unbearable at times. The dirt road to get there was pretty rough and if it had rained, we would not have been able to pass in our small car.
Originally this was to be a trip for multiple family members but it was just my husband and I.
Cabin is nice , clean and cozy.
We did not get to enjoy the outdoor activities this time but enjoyed seeing the River rise due to all the rain. It has quite a quick current.
I recommend if you do not enjoy sulfur water make sure to bring plenty of bottled water.
The location is remote and quiet but is convenient to fast food options and a grocery store.
The cabin was very clean, stocked, and linens all available and ready for use. Enjoyed sitting on deck watching the river. The covered deck is a plus, for the afternoon thunderstorms. Very secluded in the woods by the river, although there is one other cabin on same property, so if someone else is staying in the other cabin you are not alone, but other cabin is far enough away, so it is not a problem. One issue would be the dirt road going to the cabin. When it rains, the road becomes very muddy and slick with the Georgia clay and that dirt road is very long and not well maintained. Overall, we had a very enjoyable, relaxing and nice stay.
Nice little cabin by the river. We arrived during Hurricane Nicole and the dirt road in was a challenge lol. If you don’t want your vehicle to get dirty this is not for you! We have a 4x4 truck so we took it as it came.
The cabin was well appointed with basic kitchen items, towels and a complimentary set of toiletries.
Most importantly the cabin was CLEAN!
Be very patient with Wi-Fi and your cell reception. It’s practically nonexistent!
Overall we were pleased and would consider staying again if in the area.

Disliked: Communication
The property was very quiet, roomy and different,I did not like the owner coming around to demand $5 per person for my nephews(3) and 2 friends of theirs who had come to celebrate one nephews graduation from high school with a barbeque we had provided for them. The kayaks and life jackets were dirty and not in good repair ,i placed them together but could not move some as the were full of water from rain storms!I made sure that the home was very clean and tidy before we left .As the owner seemed to want to squeeze every cent out of people staying there and expressed her dislike of paying exorbitant rates to companies dealing with the rental process.Definitely will not return here to this owner.
Had rained previous day so inbound dirt roads were in bad condition. Rental mini van struggled in rural terrain. House was generally in good condition. Smart card was missing from Dish TV so buds could not watch March Madness games across a couple of different cable channels. Well water was more smelly than normal --- sulfur/rotten egg smell. Bathing & drinking water intolerable. Two cases of bottled water saved us. Property is rugged, remote & rustic.
This cabin provided the perfect secluded get away for my family. I was concerned that the cabin would be too small for my family of 6 adults and 1 toddler but it was just right! The design of the cabin is unique and fitting for a river experience. This location is the epitome of a southern river campground.
It feels timeless.
Kim answered all my questions and concerns promptly and even checked in with us once we arrived. We got the opportunity to meet her while there, as she was attending to the properties. She gave us a tour of her other rentals and we were impressed with those also! It is evident that she has taken great care to ensure that visitors are comfortable and welcomed with each visit.
We would recommend this cabin or any of her other properties to anyone and we already have, We are already planning future trips back here!
If you love the outdoors you will not be disappointed here
My family and I enjoyed our stay. We have other family that lives close and this was the perfect location for all of us to meet up for dinner together and just to sit and catch up!! Plenty of parking for our family that came to see us while we stayed. My daughters lived all tthtoys inside and out. The river was fun for them to wade in and find mussels. The beds were comfortable and the quilts were cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were well stocked and the whole place was CLEAN!! When I say clean I mean CLEAN!!! The porch in the morning was perfect to drink coffee on and just enjoy being outside. We absolutely will be back. Kim was fantastic and made everything super easy for us the whole time!! Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!
While out of town for work we made a last minute reservation, Kim was great for getting everything ready for our stay. She cares and goes above and beyond. We will keep her in mind for future trips to the area.
This cabin was very kid friendly. Kim went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fun and comfortable for all 8 of us. The kids had plenty to play with inside and outside. They especially loved kayaking and swimming in the river. Kim was very responsive to all our needs and the cabin was well stocked with all our essential needs! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! We will be back in the future!
The road leading to the property Is not well maintained so I would suggest visitors have ar lesdt a truck and wifi is very limited. Really cute and quaint cabin.
