"When booking a beach house we always look for beach/ocean front and this home did not disappoint. It was cozy and warm with the most amazing views of the beach and the ocean from every room in the house. With great communication with the host we were able to access and enjoy the home immediately upon arriving. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we could need to cook many wonderful meals during our stay. We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer as we had an extended stay here. We very much enjoyed the beach more than any other time in our 20 years visiting the Oregon coast. The beach felt like our own piece of heaven. The sunsets were amazing! The added bonus, we had several bunnies that visited every day. We could not have asked for a more relaxing vacation. "

"The location was great! The house is older. The living room furniture and beds were comfortable. Not a lot of kitchen countertop if you want to cook. But all the necessary cooking items are there including crockpot (no griddle). Bathrooms are both off the bedrooms, so be mindful of that. We fit eight people and didn't feel cramped. Both bedrooms are quite large. Just be aware that it's more of a rustic-ish cabin. We did get some ant friends by end of week."

"We had a wonderfully stay at Serene Sandlake Bayfront. The house is spacious, clean and cozy. The Pacific beach is like 5-7 mins driving distance. I would definitely love to come back to this house next year. "

"We loved the location and the view. Wifi was adequate although cell data coverage was nil. The beds were fresh and clean, as well as the bath towels, but there were a lot of cobwebs and dust behind headboards, under beds and especially in the lower level of the house. The couple that stayed in the lower level literally had to sweep and mop before going to bed because there were too many cobwebs for peace of mind. I accidentally glanced behind the headboard in my room and there was a mesh of dusty cobwebs there as well. The little gel bumper buttons on the cabinet doors had deteriorate to sticky patches and it made the cabinet doors stick shut. We got the impression that this house doesnt get rented often and as a result doesnt get deep cleaned or maintained very often. Insta hot leakes. The beach was nice and peaceful and we liked and preferred the more quiet location, but ran out of papertowels. We liked the house very much but were put off by the cobwebs. "
