"This rental was a great value and offered a comfortable, lived in quality we really appreciated. The amenities were exceptional and the fact that toilet tissue and other things you usually bring from home were amply provided was unusual yet welcomed. The Hiawassee river was gorgeous and the constant sounds of rushing water were very relaxing. This home is close to everything with Blueridge, Helens, Gatlinburg as well as other sites only an hour or two away making for so many options. The beds were comfortable as was the furniture, ample towels were provided and overall this rental was a big hit. Try the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad while you're in the area, loved it and its only a 45 minute ride. This rental us a definite winner and we found our host very supportive and available though we didn't really nèed anything."

"Super pretty cabin and was super clean! Stayed with just my husband for a romantic weekend but a small family would also fit comfortably. We had an issue with the hottub when we arrived but the host got some one out to fix it while we were out of the house the next day. Not the only house around but is surrounded by woods on all sides so you dont even notice. Hot tub is in a great spot for watching the wild life that wonders through the back side of property. There is some highway noise outside but it wasn’t enough to hear inside. Great cabin in a great location"

"We loved the property's location away from the city noise and replaced by the sounds of the wind and birds. The cabin was easy to access and close to everything we wanted to see. The house was comfortable and cozy. My favorite was sitting on the deck overlooking the pond. Meeting the local artists was a highlight of our trip and learning about the history of the area. The John C. Campbell Folk School is a must-see plus Rob at Smoke in the Mountain Pottery. The communication with Jeannine was easy. I highly recommend Mountain Laurel Cabin for your next vacation."

"We had a very relaxing stay. This place was cozy and beautifully decorated with the best view on both sides of the mountain. The hosts were very prompt and helpful with the answers to our questions."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. We've actually stayed here before. We brought our dog and it was nice to take walks in the scenic area. The property owner was prompt in responding to our request to have the fireplace looked at. Someone came over right away to show us how to use it. It was chilly and we wanted the warmth and romantic setting. Well insulated cabin that has everything you can possibly need. It also has a children's room with plenty of games, if you have kids. The only upgrade I can think of is they need a new set of pots and pans. We like cooking meals to save on money, and there is a well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and glasses, even wine and cocktail glasses, plus baking accessories, but pots and pans were few, and they looked a bit worn, and needing replacement. We used the large steel oversized pot even though it was just the two of us. The other pots looked like they had seen better days. Otherwise, this place is great. The owners thought of everything. There was even pancake mix in the cabinet! And syrup! Would definitely recommend. Dog and kid friendly. Scenic. Patio to sit with your coffee in the morning when it isn't took chilly. People here are also very nice and friendly."

"Loved Loved IT !!! The Host ( Randy ) was so very nice , the amount of deer outside the cabin everyday was insane! They were huge and you can tell they were used to being fed ! LOL,from the goats and the beautiful fish pond this cabin was small and cozy with everything that you need and was truly perfect!!! actually we enjoyed it so much we actually for got it was checkout day ( when I received a confirmation E-Mail is when I realized we were supposed to of checked out a hour ago, I called Randy and he was gracious enough to ask if we were wanting to stay another day and YESSSSSS we did !!! This is our new cabin to stay at when we come up a couple times a year ,See you soon Randy !!!!! Lois and Richard"
