I was disappointed in this stay for two reasons… one, not aware that the construction happening at the lodge meant no dining or bar options. This was really inconvenient. Also, the tv in our room did not work. It kept flashing that it couldn’t find a signal no matter what we tried. The room itself was clean and nice, but lack of dining/drinks or entertainment really made this stay lackluster.

Clean, easy, and relaxing
What can I say? Check in was a breeze - 30 seconds at the front desk and we were on our way to the room. The room was clean, had the essentials (coffee cups/maker/pods, wine glasses & wine opener, fridge for leftovers), and had an amazing view of the river and forest. Other than a small conference, the lodge was relatively empty during our mid-week stay, so we enjoyed the outdoor pool mostly to ourselves and had no problem getting a table at Portals and the Stovehouse. Short of adding free massages and complimentary yearly tax prep services, we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved staying here in this beautiful environment. It was relaxing and recreational. Went for a gilts’ weekend. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby and walking around the grounds.

What a lack luster experience. Purchased thru Expedia, which went to VRBO and then the renter. The reservation details were never passed to the hotel and took around 45 minutes to get the check in cleared away. Walking to the room and the hallways were dirty and really mediocre looking. Room view was by far the best part. Inside the extremely expensive room there were windows that wouldn’t open and furniture that was worn and stuck into the isle way which led to my wife racking her shins twice. The AC was set to 76F, for a day that was 95F outside would have been great to have the room properly balanced. Bed was soft and water was wet basically. Went to Portals for food, what a joke. Seated quickly, waitress was very stressed out because they were understaffed according to her. We couldn’t get any drinks from the bar because “there was no bartender “ but a quick walk to the bar showed differently. Food arrived 1h15m later, for burgers and fries. I didn’t even finish. For a one night stay over with the wife on an anniversary evening this was a huge waste of money and would have been better off in Roslyn or somewhere with some character. Suncadia has a lot of work to do and they won’t be getting any of my money in the future.

Quiet Fourth of July paradise
Coming from west Seattle, we wanted a quiet 4th of July with no fireworks for our dog. It was PERFECT! Great food and drinks on site, the room was nice and the tub is HUGE! If you want to feel like you’re in a secluded dream while still having good food, stay here ❤️ Also it’s on the other side of the resort from the pool so you don’t hear the screaming children 😉

Always fun at Suncadia!
Everything about the unit was great. The lodge itself wasn't as clean as it usually is (I’ve stayed here many times before). However, given all the COVID restrictions and the amount of guests staying at this busy time (week between Xmas and New Year), it’s not surprising that they’d have a hard time keeping up typical standards. We love Suncadia and will be returning soon.

Weekend Getaway!!
Perfect place for a weekend getaway. View of the mountains and river each morning 🌅 put the icing on the cake--so to speak 😊 I enjoyed the paved trails for running and the staircase for added fun! The staff is more than friendly and eager to help with everything one might need to enjoy time away from home!!! Shannon was quick to respond to questions.

Overall a great experience. We had several questions prior to arrival and the host was very responsive. There was a slight delay getting in to our room due to cleaning. I'll write it off as a Covid issue. The host also worked with us on that too.
