Relaxing and Modern

We loved our stay at The Lighthouse! The house was well equipped and clean. The view from all the windows overlooking the beach were amazing. We loved the beach and the backyard. Very private and quiet and peaceful. Communication with Kiwanda Coastal was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Little Spot

Family trip to the beach. We really enjoyed that the beach is literally outside the back door. Space is very tight, but they make the most of it. Would stay here again.

The house was perfect - super cute inside! We loved the deck and fire pit, and the location was amazing. Almost a private beach, and a two mile beautiful walk to Cape Kiwanda for stunning views.

Zen beach house

Needed to unwind. What a great place to walk the beach, eat out on the deck and watch the sun set. Finish the day by relax by the fire pit listening to the surf and looking up at the stars.

Quiet Oceanside Getaway

We booked this cabin for a relaxing getaway, and it fit our needs perfectly. It was a great place to just sit back and watch the waves, go for a walk along the beach, or drive up to Tillamook to visit the air museum (which we would highly recommend!) It was clean, well-stocked, and there was ample room for our family of four. The kids loved the bunk beds -- the upper bunk was quite high, which was fine for our preteen but might make younger kids nervous. We had no cell service (T-Mobile), which for us was fine, especially since the cabin has a land line, but is something renters should be aware of. Quiet little neighborhood, a bit off the beaten path, and fantastic ocean views. Would definitely rent again!

Dirty and not maintained

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location however it needs maintenance. We were locked out of the house for about an hour and no one returned our messages. There is a glitch with the lock sticking and we had to insert a piece a paper in the lock to prevent us from being locked out. When we called management again they did promptly address. The house was missing half the siding in the front which management never informed us about. Seems professional and courteous to give your guests a heads up when they are spending so much. The house was full of cobwebs, the dishes in the cabinets were dirty and there were dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. When you’re on vacation you do not want to pick up someone else’s mess. I brought this to the company’s attention they said they would let the manager know but we never heard a word back. I suggest you look elsewhere for your vacation rental needs.

Perfect for our family of 5

This house was a perfect home base for our family's Oregon coast vacation! It was as spectacular as the photos make it seem, and the beach location could not have been any better. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking our own meals. The bathrooms, bedrooms, everything was well-appointed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a portable crib in one of the closets, and there was even a supply of beach toys on the deck that our 10-month-old got a lot of use out of. We spent our days playing in the sand and waves, taking day trips up and down the coast, and wrapping up with s'mores at the house's fire pit at night. We had one issue with something breaking in the house, and the property management company came out and took care of it right away. Some reviews mention a lack of window coverings, but there were curtains on all of the bedroom windows, and remote-controlled shades on the big windows in the main living area. Loved our stay, and would return in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house had and property had everything we wanted and more!! With the tall ceilings and many windows the views were amazing rain or shine. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was so quiet! If you plan on building a fire bring kindling to help start your fire, and maybe one bundle of dry wood. Best time EVER!!

We loved our time at the lighthouse. It’s beautiful, freshly decorated and a relaxing getaway. When we arrived the propane for the bbq was empty but the staff came out within 10 minutes of my call with a new one. Really awesome service and beautiful home.

Cute home for small group, has personality. Great outdoor hang out, bbq grill, large table, fire pit, easy walk to beach. Just my opinion...light switches that turn on lights for the bedrooms and outside! Kinda scary with it pitch black and no coverings on windows that side of the house. Cannot see the ocean view from inside unless your standing, sitting at table or are on the upper stair landing. Would rent again.

Great Location

Very nice location, bit on the small side but adequate for our needs. Neat little house, we would definitely stay there again.. Right on the beach, which is getting difficult to find. Note: Required to pay by check or in cash to avoid extra fees, in contract but would recommend they give a discount for check or cash rather than charge extra for card. Thanks, and looking forward to next time..

Beautiful beachfront spot

This was a gorgeous, very comfortable home. The bed was great, kitchen was nicely stocked (only lacking a cutting board), and it was an absolutely beautiful space - the photos do not exaggerate. It is that beautiful. The outdoor area was nice as well; we were able to grill and have a fire in the fire pit even in early March (firewood was provided). One comment, there are no curtains on the bedroom windows. That would be a nice addition, but we still had a 5-star time during our stay.
