Very nice quiet spot to stay. The goats seem fat and happy. Very friendly also. Nobody was in the reception office however we were very early for our check in. Found someone nearby and they were very helpful in getting us settled in. Not far from Middleton which was nice. Would definitely stay there again. Also, if you're a taller individual, mind the doorways. They were probably built when folks were much shorter.

Love the place and the quiet atmosphere. I did not use the breakfast option, but there was a lady who made everything fresh from scratch. Water and coffee were replenished in the room each day, the bed was tidied, and the towels were replaced. The room I stayed in didn’t have a TV, which I didn’t mind, but I found the shower a little too cold for my liking 🙃. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be staying there again!

So whilst a fantastic location and a really lovely building, the lack of maintenance is starting to show. In my ensuite, only 1 of the 3 bulbs was working and the floor tiles were lose and cracked leaving sharp edges. there were no staff around to raise this with in the morning, so i had to leave a note on the reception desk. no body contacted me regarding the issues.

Still my favorite place to stay in Ireland. This place is all charm. Lot's to love from the incredibly comfy beds and amazing breakfast to the donkeys, goats and orchard. It's consistently brilliant

We did not have breakfast but regarding the stay, it was excellent. Due to the time of year (just after Christmas), there were very few other guests at the place, but I would expect it would be much more active in the Summer. No complaints.

Picturesque Old Estate

The venue was delightful - a beautiful old estate. Picturesque setting; the room was comfortable and clean; quiet countryside location outside of town; great price. I would definitely stay here again.

Hillary was so helpful and accommodating. She found us taxis and a place to have dinner. She was also very patient and kind to us, even though we were a tried and hungry group of six. The house was beautiful and just what we wanted to see in the Irish countryside. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful buildings and surroundings. Room was elegant, warm and the bed so very comfortable! Peaceful and quiet, well- tended gardens full of birdsong. I only wish I could have stayed longer - will definitely be back!

Stayed 'room only' so not much to say about service. Quaint nicely furnished room but severe damp smell which I couldn't decide wasn't cat's pee! Everything else appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. Quiet.

Gorgeous converted farmhouse in beautiful settings

Beautiful classic old farmhouse property nicely renovated and updated into a wedding destination and B&B. Our large room was spectacular with vaulted ceilings and an antique poster bed. Wonderful antique furniture and decor, but with a modern bathroom. Lovely farmhouse setting with donkeys in a paddock and fruit trees in the backyard. Although we had to leave early, we saw the spectacular breakfast spread. Woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.

I liked it for its simple beauty with all of the beautiful plants and trees. One detractor was some of the wood on decking/stairs to cottages look like need to be replaced. Other than that the staff was very helpful & pleasant! I would stay again

We were late checking in, but the worker was outside waiting for us and called us by name. The property is very large and beautiful. It was so quiet and the beds were very comfortable. You do have to drive a short distance down a dirt road. St first we thought we were lost.

A beautiful property. Very charming. There are donkeys and a dog! The dog is quite elderly and doesn’t like being petted but he's so cute! Top class toiletries and a beautifully appointed room. Some of the surafces were a little dusty. But so cute and relaxing

The location is great. Parking not near rooms and cars driving past my room woke me late and early. It would be good if you could get some soup at night when the weather is bleak. Otherwise the places recommended to drive to were great. First pub on list is permanently closed though. Fleet of young Ladies serving were lovely. Breakfast was good. As was lunch. Thank you, I loved the decor.

This is a quaint bed and breakfast (although we did not realize breakfast was not included with our Expedia reservation until we arrived). Super convenient to Ballymaloe Cookery School and we enjoyed a short drive to the beach as well. There are very few dining options in the area and everything closed very early so keep that in mind when planning your visit. We drove 30 minutes to find a open restaurant/bar to eat dinner. Wonderful coastal drive back to Dublin through Waterford.

To be honest, I wasn’t totally a fan of the decor or the cleanliness (the first night, I saw a spider web on the wall above the nightstand), and the noise of cars driving on the gravel road outside my window kept me awake. But the price couldn’t be beat and I loved the bed—once the cars stopped I had one of the best nights of sleep in ages.
