“Black book in cabin is wrong. Needs updated. The web page I received said 12 AM check in. 12 AM check out. Woman in office was rude. I tried calling 3 times but no one ever answered the phone. I will never tell anyone to stay there. We had cabin for 2 days. Left after one.”

“Cute,nice and cozy. To many wasp and bees something needs to be done to get rid of them. Also would be nice to have a fire pit outside the caboose. Besides that had a great time.”

“The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside.”

“I didn't like that I couldn't reach the front desk with the landline in the cabin. My cell reception was really bad and calls were being dropped. The hot tub had hair particles in it that weren't ours and I wouldn't use it. Cabin was cozy though”

“To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. The evenings and mornings were relaxing as could be with the location being very secluded. Cabin was very very clean and comfy all the way around. We look forward to making this a tradition and going back every year. I seen some negative comments leading up to our stay which is generally just a year say. To say those comments……

“This was such a quaint little place. It had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom is updated and the beds were very comfortable. And there is the amazing assortment of salt and pepper shakers also. Really enjoyed our stay.”

“Overall, a very cute and cozy property. Just a single cabin. From the pictures, it looks like the property is shared, but half of the cabin is the owner's private garage which can't be accessed. The cabin is right off the highway, so it is very easy to drive to--no huge hills or dirt roads. There is a neighbor next door who was out in his back yard, so it's not 100% private, but it is very quiet and secluded overall. The large, covered deck has a grill, a picnic table, and a hot tub. The cabin……

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away and the place was perfect for us! It was very clean! The owner was amazing and a sweetheart! The location was perfectly away but close to all the towns and hikes! Our stay was amazing definitely will be going back!”

“The cabin is beautifully situated on a hilltop with beautiful views!! The kids loved the hot tub. The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. Within about 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills attractions. Would stay here again!!”

“Such a sweet, peaceful spot. I loved sitting at the picnic table in the AM with my coffee watching the sun come up over the hill as the mist burned off and the baby goats frolicked in the field. Just as relaxing was the night time cup of tea on the front porch watching the sun set.”

“For any "vintage" lovers, this is the village to stay in. We enjoy antiques, history, etc and this is such a great place to enjoy those things. We recommend taking an electric skillet or slow cooker as there are no ways to cook for yourself. The microwave is currently out of commission so plan for that or check before you go. We were visiting our daughter who is in school at OU and this was only about 35min from her. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying in the other……

“After all day hiking in Hocking Hills, it was great to be able to drive the short distance back to our chalet to relax in the hot tub and just hang out. Would highly recommend.”
