"i would definitely go back - a lovely family running a ovely hotel ...wonderful massage. as an English speaker in the minority of guests but most hotel staff spoke pretty good english. ocationi s fabulous for amazing hiking at every level."

"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"We had a wonderful stay at Camere Hostellerie HIBOU. The rooms are wonderfully cozy and clean. The host Davide is kind and very helpful - he suggested some gorgeous hikes in the area and told us about an ongoing local festival. The breakfast was delicious and fueled us for the day. Additionally, the location is walking distance to everywhere in town and the local free bus. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Amazing place. We were greeted by the super-friendly staff even before we entered the hotel. We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience. "

"B&B Miniera is in a beautifully restored old home. The queen bed room is very spacious and has a fabulous view over the town of Cogne and up the Val Nontey valley to the mountains."
