AH33 - Studios
Located in the heart of Coimbra, beside the UNESCO World Heritage "University of Coimbra - Alta and Sofia" the AH33 - Studios are an excellent starting point to enjoy the best that Coimbra has to offer: the University, the Botanical Garden the National Museum Machado de Castro, the Old Cathedral and the High Coimbra are just next door.

The AH33-Studios studios are built in a century-old house, completely remodeled in early 2016, full of architectural details which features high ceilings worked plaster, wood elements, stone masonry to the tiles and colored walls to imitate marble.

Each bright studio has a living room, bedroom with private bathroom with hardwood floors, kitchen / kitchenette with induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils and crockery.
The Ah33 - Studios features cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in all studios.

The AH33-Studios are integrated in a building from early twentieth century, completely restored in early 2016, full of architectural details which features high ceilings worked plaster, wood elements, stone brickwork, tiles and painted walls imitating marble.

Each bright studio has a living room and a bedroom with hardwood floors, kitchen / kitchenette with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils and dinnerware.
The AH33 - Studios offers cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in all studios.

Terrific

The flat is lovely and Eduardo is a wonderful host extraordinaire! The location is excellent - close to Praça da República, the University, and the Botanical Garden, as well as multiple museums and other parks. It's a terrific place to stay whether you're a newbie to Coimbra or you're familiar with the city. Just be sure to watch your head if you are taller. Also be advised that while the location is near many wonderful restaurants offering an eclectic mix of Portuguese and international delights, the nearest convenience store as of May 2024 is the Spar on Avenida Sá da Bandeira, approximately a 6-10 minute walk and located northwest of Praça da República. Otherwise, there's a lovely pastelaria on Rua Castro Matoso directly west of the flat, only a 4 minute walk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience staying here and I'll definitely be back!

The accommodation was fabulous, everything we needed and with delicious surprises delivered by way of fresh bread every morning and gorgeous home made jams. Eduardo was the perfect host and very welcoming. The location was excellent and Coimbra itself is breathtaking. Can't wait to return soon.

So Many Nice Things

From start to finish, staying with Eduardo and Luisa was a great experience. The apartments are very well located with an easy walk to the old town and the University. The apartments are clean, comfortable and well appointed. They have obviously done a lot of work to improve their apartment building. There's a lady who comes in every day to starighten and clean. She is also available to do laundry for a fee. Eduardo was especially helpful with a good map, suggestions and information about what to do and how to get around. One suggestion to the owners: in your VRBO ad, emphasize the breakfast that you provide. Every morning they bring around a couple loaves of excellent fresh bread to have at breakfast. They also provide coffee, tea, jams, eggs, cereal, fruit, milk, juice and more! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. It's charming.

bonne situation pour visiter

Notre séjour de 4 jours dans cette maison s'est bien terminé car le propriétaire a bien voulu nous faire passer de l'appartement 32 (côté rue) à l 'appartement 31 (côté cour intérieure). Notre première nuit dans l'appartement 32 a été un cauchemar : mal insonorisé et au bord d'une route pavée très passante (des voitures passent jusqu'à 4 heures du matin ! ). De plus , Coimbra étant une ville étudiante, le jeudi soir c'est jour de fête pour les étudiants qui "brament" dans la rue une bonne partie de la nuit .....Puis , notre séjour s'est poursuivi dans le n°31 et nous n'y avons retrouvé la quiétude et le restant de notre séjour a été satisfaisant.
