"We had a fantastic holiday. Martine and Dirk are lovely hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The house and the pool are immaculate and very well looked after. We arrived to a fridge full of goodies and food for our first evening - a lovely surprise. Lots to see and do nearby and they provided fantastic suggestions for local restaurants which are not too far away. The pool is perfectly situated and is bathed in sun all day. They have a fabulous pool side house where you can also rest in the shade....

"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. "My wife and I spent five days enjoying the quiet and beauty of the Oliveira do Hospital area. Mathew’s farm was the perfect location from which we could explore the surrounding villages, vineyards and mountains of Serra da Estrela. Mathew was the absolute perfect host. "Beautifu and new location. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We originally planned a one night stay and decided to extend it one more night. Location is calm and quite overlooking the Serra da Estrela. The location is a short and beautiful drive to Fundão and Covilhã. Highly recommend this location . You will not be disappointed."
