Welcome to this Lakeside Retreat. This cozy waterfront property offers stunning lake views and access to a private beach. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, and an outdoor deck for relaxing and watching the sunsets. Perfect for a family getaway or romantic escape. This property is also just a short drive to downtown Burlington for shopping and dining. Unwind in the hot tub, cool down in the pool or simply soak in the natural beauty of Malletts Bay!

This cottage built in 1910 has been recently renovated but still maintains it's historic and rustic charm!

Beautiful property!!

My family of 4 and 2 fur babies had an incredible time at this beautiful property! The cottage had everything you could need and the view was priceless! We enjoyed floating in the lake; watching the sunset; visiting some of the local restaurants on Church Street in Burlington; and walking the Causeway. We even found a nearby park (Airport Park) for tennis and basketball. The owners were wonderful-checking in and making sure we were enjoying ourselves several times.Thank you for a wonderful stay with lots of incredible memories!

The house was perfect for our family of 5. The beach is just down the steps and the patio area was a hit with all of us. Proximity to the marina was also great. We would definitely stay here again.
It was just as agreeable being indoors as out with all this light :-)

Great spot right on the lake

Had a fun time with my friends here and had an absolute blast using the outdoor space and the beach and the hot tub and the miniature pool, the house really made our trip special and I look forward to possibly renting it again next summer!

We had an amazing 3 days here. Cottage is well designed and had everything we needed. Kids loved jumping off the float in the lake, kayaking, watching sunsets. We would definitely come again!

This property is amazing! It was clean, warm and inviting. Every detail was perfect. It was very comfortable for us and our three teens, even though having only one bathroom was tricky at times. It is on a busy road, which didn't bother us, and when you are in the house and out back it really doesn't feel like it. I could see how that might not be for some people, though. Kylie was a wonderful host. She was attentive and always responsive to questions. We have already talked about going back here again. We loved it! Thanks Kylie! :)

Very relaxing

We had such a great time staying in Kylie and Cody’s home on Mallets. What a fantastic location. We were happy to find a grocery store, pharmacy, and hardware store near by for anything we needed. There were plenty of sheets and towels. Kylie and Cody were excellent hosts and were really accommodating to my group. The hot tub was everyone’s favorite. Swimming was my favorite even though there were lots of clams in the water and you have to walk out to the boat moorings because it’s shallow. But the good thing about the shallow part of the lake is that it’s warm! Sunsets and stars were beautiful. The house is right off the road so there was a little noise from the cars going by but luckily it’s set down below the road which helped a little. I do wish the ad had disclosed that the reason shoes were recommended on the beach is because there is glass in the sand (not in the water, on the sand). But overall my friends, their two young kids, and me all agreed that we’d definitely stay there again. Great location, great amenities, and great hosts!!!! Thanks Kylie and Cody!

Perfect location and great stay

The property is in an exceptional location, it is literally steps from the water. This is a rare find in the area. The decor, furnishings, and amenities were excellent for a cottage on the lake. The host was exceedingly responsive. If you are unfamiliar with the area, beach property up to the waterline is private - these are not public beaches. This house has it's own private beach front - which in our view was a plus, but it depends on your perspective. We enjoyed the property so much we booked for next year.

Beautiful house right on the lake.

The house was perfect, especially the location. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The only complaint was that the listing should have included the information that the only beach that actually goes with the house is about 5 feet wide. Even though there was lots of open sand next to us, the neighbors came down to tell us that our paddle boards leaning against the concrete foundation (of the rental property) were actually on their property and needed to be moved. The listing also includes a picture of a beach fire but after that interaction I am sure the neighbors would not appreciate us starting a fire, nor was there a firepit. It was still a beautiful property and very comfortable, I would stay again. The property owner was responsive in a timely manner as well.
