「We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. 「Reception下午五點就休息了，但是超過五點抵達後可打電話給他們，會將旁邊reception門旁邊保險箱的密碼告訴你，在裡面即可拿到房間鑰匙及說明文件。房間內的設備很齊全，不過上下舖的配置比較特別一點，第二層的人有點不好爬上去，而且也沒有坐起來的空間。廁所跟浴室的空間離heater很遠且沒有內建的heater lamp所以很冷。熱水算是穩定，在冬天也可以安安穩穩的洗完澡！」
