"Our 7 night stay at Col di Maturaia Villa was wonderful. This charming, rustic villa situated in the mountains, offers breathtaking views, a clean and refreshing pool and a characterfulholiday home from home, filled with eclectic and antique, yet comfy furniture, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were met on arrival by Elisabetta who was very friendly, showing us around and explaining everything clearly, also recommending local places of interest to visit and restaurants to eat at. She also put us in touch with Mirco, a helpful guy who lives locally and who is readily available for any help needed at the villa.The location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing, with a choice of balcony and terrace outdoor seating areas to enjoy Al Fresco dining and from where to watch deer meandering in the garden at dawn, and dancing fireflies at night.Col di Maturaia Villa is delightful and we would highly recommend a stay here."

"Wunderschöne Anlage. Man wird gut betreut .Bei uns waren die Spülmaschinen überfordert. Trotz 38 Grad haben wir uns wohlgefühlt, Sonnenschirme am Pool wäre ein Verbesserungsvorschlag"

"We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool. The views were beautiful; and the pool area is stunning. The house was absolutely perfect. Wonderful history and a beautifully renovated house. Ask the host for recommendations, we were able to experience a beautiful local opera concert in the small town in the valley; which was free! Also, definitely check out their chestnut flour operation. We were able to sample some chestnut pancakes, which were delicious!!! One thing to keep in mind for your visit, the roads in the entire area are narrow, steep and very winding. Definitely not a issue but make sure your vehicle's fluids, tires and breaks are in good order. Also the house is a little walk down the hill so make sure you pack accordingly. We absolutely plan on returning to this little slice of heaven. Thank you Colum!"
Ancient mill in the "green hearth" of Tuscany

"The mill house was everything we wanted it to be - remote, quiet and beautifully authentic. Well equipped with everything we needed for a large group of nine of us. The children especially loved the pool area and we enjoyed the shaded outdoor eating area with BBQ and pizza oven There are walks straight from the door and the river creates a wonderful backdrop to the mill, with icy cold water to refresh tired feet after a long walk. The drive into Sillico is along an off road track which took 12 minutes to reach the village - Fine as long as you have an SUV. Elisabetta is a wonderful host and escorted us to the house on our first day to ensure we found our way there as well as giving us a guided tour of the mill. We would definitely return, especially in June again when the glow worms create a magical spectacle."

"Uriges Haus am Rande eines Wildcampingplatzes gelegen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, aber es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte. Die Lage am Berg ist sehr gut, es sind viele Wandermöglichkeiten in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Auf dem Campingplatz gibt es Esel, Hühner und einen Hund, unserem Kind hat das sehr gut gefallen. Wer einen ruhigen, naturnahen Urlaub verbringen möchte ist hier richtig."
