We stayed here over a weekend so we could attend a wedding. Property was easy to find and enter, it was super clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. We really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck with the river view. Was a very nice stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful stay

We were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect place for our two teenagers to spread out. Very clean, and a good location with the little park across the street and it was walkable to the downtown area. Thank you!

What a great home, and the view!

Immaculate home in a charming neighborhood, and a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. We met the owners who live next door, wonderful people :-) We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, as is the yard. The area is just completely peaceful. We really loved the large second floor deck. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. There are two large family rooms, both with smart tvs. There were only two of us, but four people would still have tons of space. There is lots of good places to eat within 5 or less minutes away. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, and we plan on coming again.

Stayed for a couple of nights for a girls’ getaway, and this house was perfect! It is very nicely appointed, with many thoughtful touches. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy, and within walking distance of downtown and parks. And that river view! We had everything we needed. The host lives right next door, which was helpful, yet not invasive. Would absolutely stay here again.

View activity on the Mississippi River

Staying here is a wonderful and unique experience in one of the oldest homes in Alton. There is a great view of the Mississippi River from many of the windows and the porch. There is a park within easy walking distance to see more river views from the bluffs. The house is very comfortable and has lots of beautiful spaces to relax in.
