The rooms were very clean and full of useful items. Our stay was very comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The swimming pool is a delight. A few extra courtesy items, like most other hotels, would be appreciated. The bar and surrounding area were strangely quiet, appearing closed at most times. We were not informed of the ongoing work near the entrance, either prior to arriving, or at check in.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a nice seiection of meal choices on the menu, the atmosphere was luxurious, the food was fantastic! The breakfast brunch was unparalleled, with the number anbd quality of food options and very nicely prepared/displayed.

Adina Hotel in Köln is a Must

Stayed for two day trip to Köln booked last minute and found a great stay with new amenities and air conditioning with great friendly staff. Pool and sauna were a plus as well the hotel was located very close to many great attractions and restaurants / bars. If I could give six stars I would.

A welcome respite.

Good size apartment with a washing machine which was very welcome. The floor of the bathroom was heated also. The apartment was clean and welcoming. It would be appreciated if wash cloths were provided in the kitchen for wiping bench tops etc. Situated a short walk to the train station.

This was a last-minute stay as our flight got cancelled, but we were pleasantly surprised. Clean and big rooms. Bed is comfortable. Very practical with a small kitchen and washing machine and dryer which was a big plus. Breakfast buffet was nice. Overall location is good - right next to the train and in walking distance from main attractions. We had issues with the AC at first but it was fixed. Pool was quite small and crowded with kids. No real changing rooms/showers by the pool and gym, which was a con.

Very good facilities but was charged twice

This is a modern apartment hotel with very good facilities. The spa and gym were included in the fare and was really nice. An alert to the owner is that walls in the spa rain shower room really give me indication you will have issues with moisture in future :( When checked out I noticed I was charged for the hotel a second time. Some conversation was needed until I received refund.

Excellent family stay in Cologne

The location was surprisingly good for being on the "wrong side of the river" - it's a short walk to the Koln-Messe Deutz rail station and from there just one stop on the S-Bahn or two stops on the U-Bahn to the city center. The room was spacious and accommodated my family of four very well. Washer-dryer and kitchenette in the room were very useful. We paid for breakfast one day and the spread was fresh and expansive. The only negative for me, and this may be just my taste, was that the pillows and bed were not especially comfortable. Both my wife and I had difficulties falling and staying asleep. So take from that what you will, but overall I have no problem recommending the hotel and will seek out other Adina properties if they are like this.

Good for families. Rooms a good size and nice facilities. Everything you need, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove. The pool isn't big but large enough for 5/6 people at once. Not very warm though. Very close to the s Bahn and you can easily walk into downtown. Staff were super friendly!! Downside was the shower clogged easily flooding the bathroom, handles coming off cupboards, lots of hanging space but only 5 hangers! Very little storage space, we had to keep clothes in our luggage. There was no plug for the sink in the kitchen, dishwashing liquid or tea towel making washing up unnecessarily difficult on departure day. Overall I think it was over priced for what you get. But apartment style hotels with a pool are hard to find.

I have requested for a connected room and got the totally opposite (two rooms on the same floor but very far from each other). What is the point of putting the request then! As for other things, the hotel seems nice but during the check in we arrived late and did not understand how to self checkin.
