This is a cheap basic hotel that serves its purpose well. There is nothing too bad about it, but there is nothing outstanding either. It would benefit from renovation, but I'm not sure if it is on the horizon. There is no air conditioning, so I had to keep the windows open, so I could hear some traffic from outside. Bathroom is also very basic. Sound proofing was not perfect, but not terribly bad either. Carpeting definitely needs to be replaced as soon as possible. One thing I did not really appreciate was that their reception is not always staffed (no staff after 6 pm which makes check-in a bit complicated, then no staff I believe between noon and 3pm). So if you check-out and want to leave your luggage for a bit longer, you would have to make sure you pick it up during staffed hours, which is not perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful, the property is clean. The property is close to a metro station, which makes it convenient for commuting to the downtown area. Overall, it is a budget friendly proposition, and if they were staffed 24/7, I would rate it higher.

☆ Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns alles sehr gut erklärt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und jeder von uns hatte eine zusätzliche Kuscheldecke und ein Kissen. Die Schränke waren sehr geräumig und Sky Programme gab es auch. Die Anbindung ist super, für einen Trip in Köln. Neben dem Hotel gibt ds direkt einen Supermarkt und eine tolle Bäckerei gegenüber. In 15 minuten ist man mit der Bahn am Bahnhof. Wir würden dieses Hotel immer wieder empfehlen und buchen. ☆

Auf den ersten Blick toll aber der Blick für Details beim Thema Sauberkeit ( z. B. Fön im Bad sitzt voll Staub und die Kabel sind verstaubt ( Fön) bzw. fehlen bei der Nachttischlampe, WLAN ist nicht wirklich nutzbar - zu schwach !!!! ) Frühstück ok was die Auswahl angeht.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Ich hatte ein schönes Zimmer und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, alles was man braucht in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die U-Bahn Station nur ein paar Schritte entfernt und vom Hbf Köln leicht und schnell zu erreichen.

Preis/Leistung ist ok. Das Hotel liegt nicht zentral, jedoch ist die Anbindung an den ÖPNV bestens gegeben. In direkter Umgebung gibt es Supermarkt, Restaurant und einen Parkplatz fürs Kfz.

Insgesamt können wir uns über das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des gebuchten Aufenthalts nicht beschweren, es war sehr günstig aber die Unterkunft auch entsprechend nicht das Gelbe vom Ei. Das Zimmer roch muffig und war an der ein oder anderen Stelle nicht wirklich sauber. Die Rezeption ist nur wenige Stunden am Tag besetzt, was den Check-in und -out schwierig machte. Die Umgebung ist ein recht heruntergekommenes Wohngebiet, zumindest waren wir über die Endhaltestelle der U-Bahn-Linie 16 ziemlich gut ans Stadtzentrum angebunden und das war für uns das Wichtigste. Wie gesagt, mehr ist für das Geld aber wohl nicht zu erwarten.

Wir waren 2 Tage in Köln, da ich dort eine OP hatte. Wir waren dort also nur zum schlafen und es war völlig ausreichend. Es war ein kleines aber gemütliches Zimmer. Und man hatte einen Bäcker und einen Nahkauf gleich auf der Straße. Zum reinen Übernachten also wirklich schön
