Pretty good property rooms were clean and well maintained . Only negative was the gym it was clean and nothing was available to clean your machines .

Not bad Location if you plan on going to the Free Zone. Breakfast was exceptional for the 2 days I spent there, however the coffee isnt free good by Panamanian standards.

The Sand Diamond Hotel is a very nice facilities. Service and the staff were excellent. The breakfasts were outstanding, a daily new menu made it interesting and appetizing a mixtures of local and international cosine. My room had a leaky toilets bowl after the first sleepless night, was repaired, the next nightthe same after 2 sleepless nights i was transfed to another room. I was not happy!

The staff was friendly and very accommodating of queries and providing adequate guidance. The hotel is located in the Free Zone and transportation was readily available. The hotel and room was clean and the room was very spacious for the cost.

The building is beautiful and clean but the breakfast was horrible and not a lot of variety of food. The bathroom did not have liquid soap. The hotel only gives two small bars of soap to wash your hands and bathe. I will not recommend this hotel.

Felt safe and comfortable at property. Internal phone system was problematic. The dials on the phone for front desk, housekeeping, emergency etc did not work. Breakfast buffet was good. Great variety of food choices. The hotel is quite a long distance from the airport. A shuttle would be helpful.

nice hotel but not in a nice area

hotel was nice enough. Had a smallish pool which we didn’t use. Nice restaurant. Large room with safe. Comfortable bed. However, it was surrounded by a large fence and there were guards at the gates. Attached to it was a small mall for ordinary things, not large stores, and again there were guards walking around. Not a great area. Felt unsafe to leave the hotel area.

The staff and personnel were awesome specially the front desk and restaurant personnel went above and beyond to make my stay worthwhile. The facility needs some upgrades specially in the rooms. I have been staying in this hotel for many many years and this time I have seen the decadence in the facilities specifically the rooms. Parking is available but the process is tedious, you have to make too many maneuvers to get in and out of your parking space; I guess it is set up that way to keep none customers from parking there. Again the staff was superb, the main entrance still has that captivating appearance but the rooms need some upgrades

Staff was awesome, professional and personable, entrance the hotel is still beautiful but the rooms, gym and pool need some upgrading, fixtures in the bathroom need upgrade, walls and tiles need to be cleaned you could see rust from leaks on the wall. The gym needs a total upgrade, some equipment are not working, floors dirty, wall paint peeling, no towels. I have stayed at this hotel many many times for the location but in my last and current stay I have been definitely disappointed with the poor maintenance of the place, don’t think I will be staying at this hotel on my next trip home. Again I want to compliment the staff for it’s constant professionalism

A nice relaxing time in Colon

I spent 3 night at the hotel / Colon. The hotel is situated on the edge of the Colon duty free zone so ideal for shopping. It is situated about a mile from the town centre and water front shops and restaurants / cafes. I would recommend a taxi or Uber $3. The hotel is in good condition. The room allocated was spacious, cleaned each day and very comfortable. I used the gym and the pool area. The gym was reasonably well equipped. The pool area could be doing with being freshened up, painted and new / additional sun loungers purchased. The breakfast provided was satisfactory. All of the staff I encountered were all very friendly / helpful and professional. Around the hotel there are a few fast food outlets and an excellent Lebanese restaurant which I would recommend. Given its proximity to the free port area I think the hotel / staff should take advantage of this and provide guests with info re access. I didn’t realise until my 2nd day that any member of the public could enter and purchase items in the free port area.

First of all! The hall are too dark, they need to change those lights, the front of our room super dark, the bathroom's dirty, the shower door make nosies, the bedroom firnuture need to be updated they are old and all scratches, they need to make sure to wash there sheets and bed comfort after a guess check out, our was didty with make-up, the couch was dirty and smell wear. They didn't have any room service, i keep calling and the line sounds busy. I was not happy with my first time staying at this hotel. I wont not recommend to anyone.
