It was a special treat to have the firework show directly in front of this home. The historic home and town were very neat to explore. This was a great trip for our family!

Conductor House - Cripple Creek, CO

Our group of seven had an amazing time at the Conductor House. It was set up well for our group to visit, relax, or play games. It was easy to come and go. Sleeping arrangements were spacious and accommodating. The house decorations are above the board and serve the area and the time period well. So many amenities, we lacked for nothing. We even had donkey treats and were able to share them with the town’s roaming donkey herd. The candy jars and bottles of water were a nice welcome.

Conductors House

Great location, can see and hear the narrow gauge train. The house has all the amenities you need to cook a nice meal, especially since Cripple Creek does not have a large selection of restaurants. The house was also nice and clean and roomy. Outside area has a grill and the cornhole game was a hit with our family. Would definitely stay here again!

The Coolest place we have stayed at. Top Notch!

This house is unbelievable! The amount of character and furnishings throughout the entire house draw you back in time as if you were there during that time! Each room has it's own theme and holds true to the local history of the town. There were these old looking lights on the walls that came on at night, that was a really cool feature. There is so much history to learn about Cripple creek from the books and pictures throughout the home. The kitchen is stocked up with a higher quality of amenities than anywhere else we have stayed. It's an easy walk to town if you want to gamble, go out to eat or watch a play at the Butte. We could go on and on about this spacious home, but the imagination awaits for you! This is one we will never forget!

Such a special place!

We had the pleasure of staying at \"The Conductor's House\" in Cripple Creek recently in the prime of fall colors. The drive up there was beautiful and our arrival at the house a delight! Such a cool and unique place. The history of the property was fascinating, and the details and special touches the owners integrated to preserve and honor the history were really impressive. Loved the vibe of the kitchen and spent a lot of time in there. The property is definitely walkable to downtown if you want to get a few steps in or just a minute's drive away if not. We had a great dinner at the Creek, wandered a few casinos, slept like babies, enjoyed coffee on the front deck with the sun coming up over the hills across the way. Very quiet neighborhood from what we experienced and the house had a nice fenced picnic table/sitting area outside if you're there in a time of year that allows you to enjoy. There were cute bags of donkey food in the kitchen when we were there too, unfortunately none visited. ;) Maybe next time. Hope to be able to experience this great property again soon!

The Conductor's House - Just the Ticket!

This vacation rental is as charming and full of history as Cripple Creek itself! A beautiful restoration/update, with attention to every detail (even donkey snacks!) and amenity you would need on vacation. You're within a short walk to the main street, but still feel as though you're on a mountain retreat. Lovely hosts and would definitely stay here again!

Hanging with the Conductor!

This property is a gem!!! The historic home is HUGE with room for the entire family/group. It is meticulously updated and absolutely beautiful. It is only a short walk to downtown and the Cripple Creek casinos/shopping. We loved seeing the old pictures and history of Cripple Creek right in the rental...it was like staying in a museum!!! We will certainly be back to the Conductor's House!
