Quiet & Calm

We enjoyed this lovely little getaway with our family. LOVED the sauna...wish we would have done it the first evening we arrived. Beds were comfy. Some feedback for future guests: PLS WD40 ALL the doors, needs better pillows, lacking kitchen amenities (foil, food storage, condiments, a FULL sized sponge, variety of tea/coffee, most pans are scratched). The deck 100% needs a shade covering, it gets hot out there for most of the day it's unfortunately unusable. The kitchen door needs a covering since midafternoon to sunset sun glares through the window.

We had the best time at the Florissant Fishing Cabin! I absolutely love the style of this place. It was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed. You can tell that a lot of love was put into every detail of this cabin. There are lots of cool places nearby, and the guide they provided was very helpful. There are very clear instructions on how to use things like the sauna and the bear proof garbage bin. The hosts are also very responsive if you need anything during your stay!

Cool cabin

Very cozy mountain cabin. Amazingly well stocked kitchen and great yard with sauna. Be prepared for a journey over some steep dirt roads to get to the property. It’s a developing area so there were some construction noises, but nothing too crazy. We would come back again, and throughly enjoyed our stay. Our pup too!
