A beautiful hotel in a great location for either downtown or going to Garden of the Gods and Pike’s Peak. Very clean and well designed rooms, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Great bar and food too. Would definitely return!

I chose this hotel for my husband’s 40th birthday overnight stay. The property and room were amazing!! The staff were very nice, helpful, and informative. The room was better than expected. We both agreed we will be staying here again.

The hotel was charming and the staff was incredibly nice. The italian restaurant, Oro, attached to the hotel was excellent and had unique offerings. Great little coffee bar in the lobby along with a lobby bar. I would definitely stay again if I go back to visit Colorado Springs.

I travel a LOT, but rarely am I compelled to write a review. This hotel is one of those rarities. It is truly a lovely hotel. Well decorated, clean, thoughtfully laid out and appointed, great bar, live music on Thursday nights. Again, all terrific but what made this hotel rise to the level of this review was the staff. Every single person we encountered—the people at the front desk, the valet service guys, the bartender and wait staff, and the maids—were fabulous. Friendly, helpful, professional. This is what makes a hotel special and The Mining Exchange truly is.

Fun boutique hotel in the middle of downtown Colorado Springs. Excellent location and friendly staff. The lobby was a great place to hang out at various parts of the day, whether to grab breakfast with some Blk Magic coffee, breakfast, or a cocktail in the afternoon. Room was comfortable but could be slightly updated and maintained a bit better. however, the mahogany and brick made for nice room decor, and the room had everything someone would want during the stay. Gym facilities were a bit tight, but it was enough to make do for a bit of working out during the stay. There is only one treadmill so that was the most challenging of equipment to use. Otherwise, a great stay - and even the ORO restaurant matched the hotel's standards serving good food in a comfortable and attentive environment
