"The location was ideal, and we were surprised to find a very nice hotel, with a great restaurant for breakfast. We were able to check in early after disembarking from our cruise ship, and was short walk to the train to the airport."

Beautiful Victorian Home - Central Vancouver!

"Our family of 10 found Carlo's home perfect. We had a great kitchen that was exceptionally well-supplied for cooking. The back deck was a perfect gathering place for dinner and late-night conversations. The bedrooms were setup nicely so all had comfortable beds. Our well-traveled 16-year old grandson commented that all the beautiful artwork made it the most interesting place he had ever stayed.The location was close to public transportation and food options. We had a most wonderful time, and Carlo was a perfect host. Check-was a breeze. I particularly appreciated the manager as he contacted me about a left-behind pair of sandals (which were mine, not the children's) and is graciously sending them to me. We would definitely book this home again if we return to Vancouver."
Hotel at the Waldorf

"Now the location may scare some people away but it shouldn't. There is a grocery store and a dollar store across the street and a nice bar/restaurant in the lobby. The staff at the desk was very helpful. The room itself had a fan and A/C however it did smell a little musty when we first got into it. But once we got the A/C going it cleared up. Everything was spotless and the bed was quite comfortable. Our room was over the beer store on the side street and the single pane windows allowed quite a bit of noise from outside. That being said it was everything we expected in Downtown Vancouver. It's close to all the downtown things and Uber was cheap to get around. Parking was questionable as there are very limited spots in the lot for the hotel and otherwise you would have to park on the street. Overall it was a good place to stay as long as you aren't expecting a high end resort style experience."

"The cost was great; all amenities you would need were included. Good restaurants down the street and easy transit to downtown, walking distance to Nanaimo station, and bus stops by the location. Main living area was really clean and comfortable to sleep in."
