"Excellent location for old town tours. Very good amenities. It is far better 4-star hotels comparing to other 4-star hotels we stayed on the same trip in France. The hotel offers slippers and bathrobes and the Spa opens until 11:00pm. The staff is also very helpful."

"My favorite hotel in Lyon. Lovely hotel , large rooms, great breakfast and great location. The Hotel is literally across from the train station. Furthermore, the train from the airport drops you off right in front of the hotel. Staff is very helpful."

The globe didn’t have hot water when we were to check in, so they made arrangements for us to stay at another equally rated hotel in their group. They took care of all the transfer details for us. Both hotels are great. Le Phenix and The Globe & Cecil."

"Séjour globalement correct, mais assez décevant sur certains points. La partie restauration est vraiment très bien, assuré par un personnel particulièrement sympathique, et constitue clairement le point fort de l’hôtel. En revanche, le spa laisse à désirer : propreté très moyenne, hammam hors service sans que l’équipe ne m’en informe, et un accueil peu agréable — on a presque l’impression de déranger lorsqu’on demande une serviette, d’autant plus qu’aucun peignoir n’était disponible ni au spa et ni dans la chambre. Au final, l’hôtel reste convenable, mais la prestation globale manque de qualité autant dans les chambres que pour les équipements annexes, à l’exception du restaurant qui se démarque nettement."
