"Pros: Dit kleine huisje biedt een oase van rust, afzondering en natuur. Het zwembad zou ik eerder een dompelbadje noemen maar het biedt wel de broodnodige verkoeling. Het dakterras is prachtig ná zonsondergang om de maan achter de bergen te zien verschijnen. Overdag is het er veel te heet omdat er geen parasol is. Luie stoelen beneden ontbreken buiten waardoor alleen aan de picknicktafel onder de overkapping gezeten kan worden en da’s niet altijd lekker. Horren in de ramen zijn ten zeerste aan...

"We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in de villa van Carlos, We hadden graag langer willen blijven. De villa is schitterend en heel ruim. In het echt nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. De weg naar de villa is prima te rijden, Het zwembad is heerlijk en de tuin is ook heel mooi.Carlos is een geweldige host en staat altijd voor je klaar.Wij komen graag nig een keer terug!!!Bedankt Carlos voor je goede zorgen!"

"Very relaxing break at Malaga Hills. Breakfast was great with a selection of fruit and croissants. The indoor pool kept cool all day and the honesty bar meant you were largely left to your own devices. That said, Vreneli, Ruud and staff were very helpful for booking restaurants, with Malaga Hills getting the best spots reserved. Great stay, would happily go back and enjoy the tranquil surroundings."

"A Truly Special Place There are hotels where you simply sleep, and then there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. La Tienda Nueva is firmly in the second category. From the moment we arrived, we were less like guests and more like friends. Warmth, genuine hospitality and passion for both the guesthouse and the beautiful village of Cómpeta shine through in everything. The guesthouse itself is stunning. Beautifully restored, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, it perfectly blends traditional Andalusian charm with modern comfort. Every detail has clearly been considered. The rooms are peaceful, the communal spaces are welcoming and the rooftop terrace is the perfect place to unwind and take in the atmosphere of this incredible white village. What really made our stay special wasn’t just the accommodation, it was the feeling. It felt calm, authentic and refreshingly personal. In a world of chain hotels and impersonal check-ins, La Tienda Nueva reminds you what hospitality is supposed to be. Cómpeta is a magical place in its own right, with its winding streets, friendly locals and breathtaking mountain scenery, and La Tienda Nueva is the perfect base from which to experience it. We arrived looking forward to a holiday and left with memories we’ll treasure. Thank you for creating somewhere so special. "Great location to visit Nerja, very close to restaurants, the breakfast was very Good with several choices. The room was comfortable but very basic with just one old fashioned wood table and one chair. No trash can in the room only in the bathroom. The beds could benefit from new mattresses and you can hear what’s happening on other rooms."
