Just what we had hoped for!!

The Crow's Nest is exactly as pictured, as is the view. You can even see Cerro Acangagua when the light is right. No need for air conditioning as the sea breeze takes care of that. The waves sing you to sleep at night and the gulls provide entertainment if you run out of things to do. The apt is comfortably furnished and the kitchen complete. Off street parking a plus as are the hosts, who were very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the beach, which is quite dirty. Fortunately you don't see that from your Crow's Nest view.

Do yourself a favor and stay here for a month!

We stayed a month and wish we could have stayed two! This is a very homey, comfortable, spacious apartment with killer views of the surf below. The 24/7 sound of the breaking waves and sea birds is to die for. Mark, the owner, is gracious and friendly. Buses to Vina del Mar (and thence to Valparaiso) are two blocks away and run about every five minutes. The area feels very safe. The compound itself is secured by a high wall and locking gate, plus there is a second locking gate--which we never bothered to lock--before you even get to the apartment. We've been traveling non-stop for seven months and this was definitely the best apartment we've had.

Funky but comfortable

This accommodation is funky but comfortable, it ain't the Ritz. The furniture is old but serviceable and the facility has all the ingredients to make your stay comfortable. The views are fantastic. Mike and his wife were extremely helpful and went out their way to make us comfortable.

Excellent Location, Excellent Apartment

This place was everything we needed. It was quiet, private, and spacious. We especially loved the balcony and the sound of the ocean coming through the windows at night. Owners were fantastic and we are very happy we found this place. Will be coming back.

Great View!!!

Two friends and I spent 7 nights at the Beach House and really enjoyed it. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Carlos and Isabell, who are the contacts, were very helpful even if there was a language barrier with 3 gringo's that didn't speak Spanish. We had a great experience and highly recommend this or one of the other apartments as a destination.

What a fantastic place!!!! Fabulous apartment, comfortable, well equipped and with amazing views over the pacific ocean and Boca beach in Concon. Mark is a dream to deal with, organised, efficient and super helpful both before you travel and whilst you are there. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Crows Nest or indeed any of Mark's other properties to anyone. We had one of our best holidays ever in Chile, and the 10 days we spent in the Crows Nest was a contributing factor. Once again thank you Mark.
