Perfect Getaway
For someone looking to leave the congested world behind, and to surround himself in the wonders of mountain nature, this is the place. Ample, rustic and ideally located, this cabin got it. Wildlife is all around you, including daily visits by deer, a senate of gigantic owls, and watch out for the grizzly. The cabin is cozy, rustic with a nice porch to enjoy the late afternoon drink. Andy, the owner, can't be a nicer guy. Always touching base, and in my case, going the extra mile to help me with a flat tire in the proverbial middle of nowhere. The cabin is only a few miles from the only market and gas station in many miles, and close to many miles of hiking trails with spectacular views. Only one heads up, unless you have ATT, you are out of toich. All in all, this is the perfect spot for one or two individuals.

The highlight of our stays. We stayed in the smaller Hunters Cabin. Perfect for 2 ! Andy, his daughter, and their dog Sis were such a joy to meet! Location was incredible. Short walks and watching the sun rise and set was just a bonus. We were based here for day trips to Glacier and Swan Lake! Perfect! And the screened porch gave us the comfort of home! Highly recommend 💚

A fantastic little cabin at an incredible price. Sitting on the screened-in porch listening to the wildlife at night was one of the highlights of our entire Montana adventure. The host runs a fantastic operation!

Andy is a great host ! If there is anything you need or he can help you with he will ❗️ Very knowledgeable about the trails in the area ! And where to get good meals . It is a Hunter’s Cabin keep that in mind but great location and quiet. Just right for two people . indoor shower , kitchen sink , small refrigerator, bunkbed, toilet and screened in front porch and that makes it great when returning from a long day of hiking 🥾 I give this an overall high rating 👍

I had a great stay at the Hunter's Cabin. It was clean and remote, and located in a beautiful setting. A deer and fawn wondered past the window each evening. The screened in porch is amazing on a warm evening, and I spent much of my time there. I met the owner, Andy, and he was pleasant, helpful, and mindful of my privacy and solitude. I hope to be back.

We had a great experience at the cabin. The cabin is very cute and comfortable. The details of kitchen equipment and fun decorations and books were very good. We awoke to deer and took a short walk into the Bob Marshall wilderness- very beautiful. The owner is very amiable and helpful.

A special little cabin in a spectacular setting
Had a wonderful ,relaxing few days at the Hunter’s Cabin. It is a most peaceful place in a spectacular setting. The cabin has every thing could need including a large assort of books to read and lots of guide books regarding the area and the natural world. Quiet is key and Andy is a great host who really wants you to see and understand this special place. He is a treasure trove of knowledge and delightful to talk with. If you are wanting peace, quiet and the beauty of the natural world this is the place!

This cabin was just off the main road in Condon, but far enough off to be very still and quiet. Looking out our window in the morning we saw a deer and her fawn. A perfect place to get some quiet rest.

Outstanding Experience
From the minute we pulled up we were in awe of the surroundings. Absolutely loved our stay. In the time leading up to our stay Andy was super responsive, answered all our questions re: the area around the Swan Valley and the cabin itself. The cabin is as advertised, the shower was awesome even. Our favorite spot is the screened in porch in the evening overlooking the valley. If you are a couple do not be afraid of the bunk beads. They were really comfortable and the fact my wife and I slept separately for the first time in a long time I had the best sleep in a long time…😀😀😀 Highly recommend staying with Andy as a host if you are in the area. Beats a chain hotel expérience hands down!

This was great for a quiet getaway from the chaos taken place at the UTBS festival we went to over the weekend. Had all the essentials we needed to be comfortable. The owner Andy does a great job with communicating with his property renters, as well as keeping the cabin in great condition! This is the greatest vaca renter spot for those visiting the area! I highly recommend!!!!

Normally I don't write reviews out of principle, but I have to make an exception in this case. After my wallet was stolen, I arrived at Andy and his family's house with the last trope sprint. They helped me immediately, showed me around the farm, and even invited me for dinner. That was really remarkable and I am still very grateful. Apart from that, the area is magnificent. If you want to relax from city life, this is the right place. When you step out of the cabin, you can see the silhouettes of snow-capped mountains, there is wildlife everywhere, amazing lakes and the air is phenomenal. Simply pure nature. The cabin is clean, and cozy and includes everything else you need. Only internet and cell phone reception are mostly missing. But that's not really bad, because in this beautiful spot on earth you can safely do without your cell phone.

Perfect Getaway
The REAL Montana experience! I loved that this cabin was off the beaten path, no sounds of cars, or trains. Woke up to the call of Elk one morning, and birds chirping all around! Andy, gave great recommendations for hiking, and was superb at hosting.

The cabin was very clean. Easy check-in/out process. Very nice place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful location nestled back in the woods. There is a nice grocery store less than 5 minutes away that has everything you would need. The front porch is a great place to relax, enjoy a nice cocktail after long days of hiking in the surrounding wilderness.

Hunter's Luxury cabin
This cabin is named "Hunter's Cabin" but we felt it should be named "Hunter's Luxury Cabin." We were here for one night including our three year old daughter. There was plenty of space for the three of us and our daughter had a blast playing in the woods and around the cabin. We had a glorious sunset view from this quiet cabin. The cabin is very clean and has everything a family needs, shower, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, bunk beds, large window next to the dinning table, an amazing screened porch with chairs to sit on. Andy also has a collection of books and nature trail maps which we liked. We were given immense privacy. We wish we had stayed more days. Andy also was exceptionally good with communication and readily accommodated our request for early check in. Overall a five star cabin and a five star host.

Great little bunkhouse
We rented The Lazy Bean and added the bunkhouse for extra space. Our two teenage boys liked the separate space and bunk beds. It was also great having another full bath so they could get ready for the day in their own place. We very much appreciated the use of bikes while there so they could travel quickly between the two cabins. Great value and peaceful spot! :)

Wonderful experience at the Hunter's Cabin for a two night stay on Andy's property for two of us. I had planned this stop as a wind down after a week of hiking in Glacier NP with a friend. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and seeking to relax which was easy right away on our arrival. With the beauty of the area it was hard to resist exploring just a few of the numerous trails, lakes, and mountain scenery (Holland Falls was a great short hike not to far away). Andy was very communicative, friendly, and welcoming to his property ahead of the visit and during our time on the property. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the maps, pictures, and literature available on the local area info that was in the cabin. It's on the list to revisit on my next trip out to Montana!

Everything was absolutely lovely. The owner, Andy, was very friendly and communicative. He stopped by shortly after we arrived to give us information about the cabin and the area and made sure we had his contact info. The cabin itself is charming, with a full bookshelf and maps of the surrounding areas on the walls. It doesn’t have wifi or cell service (at least, not with Verizon. We were told AT&T works better) but we were very content without it. There are plenty of better ways to enjoy time in the cabin. It also has a sink, a minifridge, and all the small appliances you could need (toaster oven, coffee maker, etc.) Definitely bring groceries if you don’t want to have to leave the cabin again, as it’s pretty remote. It has a nice screened porch with nice patio furniture where you can watch the wildlife move through the surrounding woods, and the beds were very comfortable. We slept in the bunk beds, but the cabin also comes with an air mattress (I believe the notes left said it was a queen?) if the top bunk doesn’t appeal to you. I would happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was everything I expected: A secluded place deep in the woods to enjoy the quiet and be still with nature. Andy is very friendly and helpful if needed. I knew signal was going to be questionable so I downloaded movies on Netflix, but I didn't even turn on my tablet because I was enjoying myself with the surroundings so much! I will definitely look up Andy's other properties when I come back in the area!

This place is awesome, and Andy is awesome. It is exactly what it is described as...a rustic efficiency in the woods on a ranch in rural Montana. We had deer visit us near the dining area window during breakfast each morning. No Verizon or Internet (as advertised)...but there is a nice book library to help you enjoy your getaway in the woods. Note the amenities part when planning for meals...it has efficiency-type supplies so BYOC (bring your own coffee). There is a very very nice market 5 minutes away. I plan to return to the "Hunter" at the first opportunity.

Actual cabin experience, yet still very comfortable
This place is exactly what I was looking for - an actual cabin experience, meaning a small, one-room, rustic structure perched on a slight rise surrounded by trees, at the end of a dirt road, quite a ways out from just about anything. And yet, it was so impeccably maintained, so clean, so well-equipped (a kettle! a toaster oven! a generously stocked bookcase! bear spray! a lantern!) it made the overall stay quite comfortable, and the screened-in porch is just brilliant ("outside, but without the bugs" said the host, hilariously). Solid value - highly recommended.

My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying at the cabin for our anniversary! Andy was the most hospitable property manager we have ever met. We got to hear the history about the property, see numerous animals, and enjoy the peacefulness of our quiet get away. This was hands down our favorite trip we have ever been on. I highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a rustic cabin to lay your head at night, this is for you. Lots of literature provided with Montana history as well as maps throughout the cabin. Cabin was clean, the shower at the end of a long day was appreciated. Beautiful, private landscape where you can completely disconnect, relax and enjoy.

Awesome rustic experience
My mother and I stayed here just one night to cap off our trip in Montana. We loved sitting in the peaceful quiet in the screened-in porch and admiring the beauty of the land. We’d have happily stayed longer! The cabin is very well equipped and we really enjoyed our chat with Andy. If you want to get away from it all to the peace and stillness of the country this is the place!
