"We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless and had plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. We were lucky enough to get snow while we were there, which made everything feel extra magical. The host even provided sleds so our kids could slide down the hill & it truly felt like a winter wonderland.The hosts were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us, especially with some weather related travel issues while we were flying in. Sunrise on Conesus Lake: Pet Friendly Amazing views and blend of woods & water

"It was a good setup, the hill up to the property was steep, and a bit rough, but thankfully we had all-wheel drive. Great view."

"Phillippe was an excellent host; his communication before checking in and throughout our stay. He also went above and beyond to help us enjoy the local sites despite a less-than-ideal weather weekend!However, the property itself left a lot to be desired. First, the queen bed included on this listing is not a queen bed; it is a full at best. I would not have booked having known this. Second, the shared lake access is not clearly indicated or marked, and upon walking the area, it appears all of the immediate shore access around the cabin is private. The outdoor area was also overgrown and the lawn clearly hadn't been maintained in awhile, which hurts the ability to enjoy the outdoor spaces. The fridge was also filled with random, mostly expired food which was very off-putting."

"We were excited to visit the Avon Inn and it exceeded our expectations. It is a delightful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, with a comfortable bed and in room gas fireplace. The co-owner Jen was lovely to speak to and the history of the hotel is fascinating. Special shoutout to the awesome pool table in the lobby - it is an awesome statement piece and a great use of the space to socialize being right next to the restaurant. We did not get to try the restaurant but the menu looked great. Nearby walking was also very nice because the surrounding homes are beautiful and historic themselves. We will definitely be back."

"We were looking for a beautiful place with views for myself and 4 of my sisters to spend time with my one sister who is battling cancer. Well, we found it in this beautiful place! It had a first floor bedroom that was perfect as she can’t do steps easily. Spent most of our weekend sitting on the deck just enjoying the view. We actually all got up at 5:30 in the morning to see the sunrise that was spectacular! You were very grateful for this time that we got to spend together. Thank you!"
