"We went to do some hiking, the property was in a great location within an hour of all of the places we wanted to go ( Crabtree falls, Chimney Rock, Tom’s falls). Loved the Linville winery. The owners left plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the game room and views from the porch!"

"This beautiful property was perfect for what we needed. Our son had a soccer tournament in Hickory with spaced out game times, rescheduled games due to weather, etc. The Blue Door Guesthouse was our comfortable oasis to relax and enjoy family time. "The owners were very thoughtful and well organized. The property was cozy and clean - our family had a wonderful visit! It was easy to jump on the gorgeous trails or drive to the state park and lake. We didnt use the fire because our kids were so worn out from all the fun at the end of the day, but it was a beautiful space. The owners clearly love the space and provided lots of little supplies that also made it convenient."

"The small town of Valdese is cute and has some great things to see and do but this little bungalow is amazing! All the furnishings and appointments were clean, attractive and uncluttered. Notified owner we would be arriving late at night and they left lights on in the house for us which was much appreciated.
