"Good location near White Pass and Mt. Rainier (summer). Property is good, solid, clean. Located in Packwood, where some motel properties are a bit sketchy, this one is clean, solid and everything worked. I'd stay there again. The only issue is that it is located in Packwood which has less than a handful of dining options. But that's not their fault. Oh, in the morning, we saw a herd of elk from the back window just grazing away...cool!"

"Perfect Family Place with Gnome Park!I admit this was overkill for just my wife and I but I wanted quiet (perfect), Hot Tub (looked great but did not use - on us not the place), and to check it out for potential future stays with rest of family (passed with flying colors). I found it odd that the owners do not highlight the really neat Gnome park right next door. A local family artist has created a fun unique Gnome park for anyone to walk thru and explore right next door for free.The river is across the street but there is nothing blocking the view. The actual river is quite a bit ways out but you can see it beyond the rocks. The view is nice.All n all a very nice place to stay!"

"The house was not well cleaned when we got there. The fridge was not well cleaned and had buildup along the edges. The freezer had red appearing crumbs in the ice box and the freezer drawers inside were dirty appearing. Very unwelcoming to put my food into. The house was not well cleaned with dirt and general house dust in all the rooms and nightstands. Some of the plates and bowls in the cabinet were not very clean appearing compared to some of the other dishes. I had to wash a pot before using it, as there was still residue from the last time it was used. The listing stated kids dishes, which there were none. It listed a toaster as an amenity, which there was not. There were only pots, no frying pan to cook with. I messaged the host asking if there was a pack and play available and never got a response. When I messaged her about the house being dirty she asked if I wanted to cleaner sent again. We asked for a toaster since it was listed, which they offered to have dropped off, which was delivered at 10:45 pm. Overall not a good experience. The house was a great location to town and the mountain. Each room had comfortable beds and a futon couch for extra sleeping space. "

"A beautiful cabin located on the Cowlitz River was fantastic for a few families. A short visit up to White Pass ski resort just 30 minutes away is an ideal place to come and relax. The house was well equipped met our needs and communication with the property manager was fantastic. Only 2 1/2 hours from Portland. This is an easy getaway that we will for sure do in the future."

"Great experience all around. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and quick communication with the owner. Totally reasonable drive back (to the hot tub!) after a long day skiing, and good access to food and supplies in the very walkable downtown. "
