“Staff were incredible and helpful for all our requests including local landmarks, the room was very clean. My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!”

“Very accommodating staffs, gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was at the end in the second floor, was nice and quiet. Room nicely heated, get some insects in the room if windows are opened(even in winter), but not a big problem at all. Overall a very lovely hotel with nice dinner and breakfast. Beautiful town to visit! ”

“Everything was absolutely perfect, very nice and cosy room. Ricardo and the lady who was helping him advised us about places to visit. Ricardo makes delicious breakfast. His homemade granola is so good. If we are coming back, we will definitely come back to this place. ”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Plenty of secure parking available, which was really convenient. I’ve eaten here before and the food is always amazing, though I didn’t dine in this time. My room was lovely and had a quaint charm, with what felt like centuries of history built into it. I was given an upgrade, which was very comfortable, but unfortunately it was right on the road and could be quite noisy. The bathroom was a little dated, but still functional. “What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! ”
