“What a wonderful place to stay. Check in was a breeze. The rooms were beautifully furnished, and the little amenities like bottles of water were appreciated. Staff was very welcoming. If I’m ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there.”

“The room was clean. The chair in our room looked like an animal used it for a clawing post. No pool, and the pictures didn't show you that McDonald's is in the same parking lot. The pictures must be old.”

“Caretaker Doreen was the bright spot of the experience. She was awesome and so personable. Felt like staying with an old friend. Beautiful area and lodge is cute from the outside. The rooms are each decorated differently. Not a negative, but motorcycle riders take note that the driveway is very steep and uneven in parts. Could be challenging depending on rider experience. Biggest downside was there are no individual room temperature controls. The caretaker can make adjustments, but it is the……

“Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. ”

“This place was wonderful. The breakfast was top notch, like a top tier restaurant. The host Don was so friendly and went above and beyond to make guest feel welcome. We had a wonderful time at breakfast with the other guests. We definitely plan on returning! I wish we had more than one night. There were beautiful Mountain View’s as well. ”

“It's a beautiful place. You will have to drive if you want to explore the area. Just 10-15 minutes you can be in town. But the grounds and accomodations are worth the drive. ”

We loved the private location and wooded area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We definitely stay again. ”

I kept hearing complaints from several other guests about their cards not working, and all night and into the early morning, people were talking in the halls.
