"I had often heard that the area around Gare du Midi was unsafe and dirty, but I was pleasantly surprised. While some parts just outside the train station weren’t very clean and had a number of homeless people sleeping there, the streets near our hotel as well as the metro and train stations were nice and felt fine.
The hotel’s location is very convenient, with easy access to the subway, train station, grocery stores, and more. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and equipped with everything we needed."
