Amazing views and a peaceful setting just 12 minutes from the city of Cookeville

Visit Cookeville and explore the nearby waterfalls, hiking trails, Tennessee Tech and more while relaxing in our peaceful mother-in-law suite. It is a very practical but peaceful space with all the comforts of home. Just ten minutes from I-40 and yet private and secluded. 12 minutes to downtown Cookeville and 15 minutes to Tennessee Tech. And if you just want to stay in and enjoy some privacy, there is a full kitchen for cooking meals, a washer and dryer for convenience and we are just upstairs if you need anything at all, though you probably will not see us unless you need something. The apartment has a private entrance and is not connected via the inside of the house. Enjoy the changing leaves this fall from the patio as you sip your morning coffee or the city lights with a glass of wine. Book your getaway today and enjoy our mountain retreat apartment. We also have an additional King suite located upstairs with a private entrance if you have more in your party. It can be added to your reservation for $50.00 a night and provides a private room and bathroom with more amazing views.

Private with exceptional view

Really enjoyed our stay. Morning coffee on the patio was the perfect way to start the day. And the view was just as spectacular at night! Patrice has thought of everything to make staying there comfortable. From thick, luxurious towels and comfy bed to frozen pizzas in the freezer and a well equipped kitchen, we felt right at home. We enjoyed the board games, books and Direct TV too. There’s a Super Walmart for groceries less than 2 miles away in Algood along with many fast food places like Zaxbys, Taco Bell, Cracker Barrel etc. And Cookeville is an easy 12-14 minutes drive. In downtown Cookeville be sure to stop at Tennessee Legends distillery for free tastings anytime. We were in town for Tennessee Tech graduation and our adult children loved it! We would definitely recommend staying here and will be back next time we need a place to stay!

Top pick in Cookeville!

Hands down, the best place we’ve stayed in Cookeville! Beautiful view. Clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of places to sit and relax, inside and out. Table with 4 chairs in living area and small table with 2 chairs in kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Owners were great to communicate with. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and surrounding area. Everything was great. I only heard the people above us once and that was just a little water in the pipes. Otherwise it was all very private and secluded. An easy 5 stars.

Nice spot!

Loved the porch and the view! Enjoyed gas "fire pit" at night and early morning. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy nature, you will enjoy it. I would return to this location.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. The views are breathtaking and the property is very nice. Yet you aer close to shopping and activities. I highly recommend for a relaxing time!

Mine and another family all stayed in this beautiful mountain home with special touches like watermelon and pizzas placed in the fridge for us upon our arrival, games, nice kitchen ware, very nice and comfortable beds, and a gas fire table to roast marshmellows. However, we love a campfire, so we brought our own portable firepit to sit around in evening. The buck mountain view was perfect and it was located conveniently; within 20 minutes, to our kayaking trip down the caney, parks to fish and boat, and hiking at Rock Island. The owners of the property are very inviting!
