"Our family wanted a little getaway before summer got too busy. This cottage was very comfortable in a peaceful setting."

"Good location near Munising and several attractions. The property was clean and had plenty of bedding and towels. We used both the grill and fireplace, which was great! The only downsides were that the beds were very squeaky, so not good for light sleepers, and the beach isn’t really one you would swim in due to the algae and muck - still enjoyed sitting lakeside tho! We also had our dog, and it was great to find a place that was pet friendly."

"Longview Cottage is a cute, cozy little cottage which was perfect for a trip to the UP. The owners have furnished it well, with pretty much everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and the dvd collection is fabulous! I had one question, during our stay, for the owner who immediately responded to a text.We had a great time and would definitely recommend it."

"We've been coming to Munising off and on for the past 20+ years. We've stayed at hotels, motels, apartments, cabins, etc. But this is the best place we've stayed -- BY FAR! It's exactly as advertised, except it's on 21 acres instead of 14. Plenty of area to explore, checkout wildlife, and have some adventures. The pier is great for fishing, and the jon boat and kayaks allow exploration of the lake. The house is plenty large and the kitchen well equipped. It's a short drive to Pictured Rocks...

"Really enjoyed our stay, we had a boat so we went mostly into garden bay on lake Michigan, Indian lake is nice, but you have to be really careful on that lake as there are so many low spots. "The property is very nice. One of the beds is a couch, so be prepared for that. The water pressure is a little low in the shower. I would recommend replacing the head as an easy and enjoyable perk for your guests. The location is amazing, and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you!"
