A few tweaks and this home will be perfect

Pro: Lovely farm house and piece of property. Quiet and private. The owner is very responsive and made an accomodation for my arrival a day early. He also sorted some issues I had upon arrival. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are nicely finished and furnished Cons: As explained to me by the owner, they just had a long term tenant move out. Would be great if the owners made a trip to the house. A full kitchen inventory is in order. Making even a simple spaghetti dinner not really feasible in what is a large kitchen with high end appliances. No sheet pan, no pot large enough to boil water in for pasta, 3 terrible old knives. No knife block or steak knives. Drawers full of unorganized and badly tarnished silverware: not in a shabby chic way. ALL of the dishes, pots and pans need to be taken out of cupboards and cleaned. This will sound petty but a 10 digit door code is never going to be something anyone can remember. Will require keeping your phone with you every time you leave the property. We found the NEST thermostats difficult to program, no instructions on site. Broken dining chair. Limited TV seating for a house that sleeps 8. We were only 4, but 3 of them tall guys... I had several text threads with Vacasa, I have rented through their management before and in both instances communication is bad. Useless actually. This house is so close to being an awesome rental...

Beautiful property

Our stay was perfect! Plenty of room - close to Great Barrington, Lennox, Bish Bash Falls - -loved the screened in porch - the property was beautiful with lots of different paths to find.Clean and easy.
