Absolutely horrendous service. Staff does not clean up anything for hours and hours in the lobby. Out of coffee at breakfast, you have to practically go to the kitchen to get someone. Very shortstaffed and looks worse than a youth hostel…. Online reviews were most definitely deceiving.. the only good thing that was positive is 1) receptionist 2) bed 3) location and that’s about it. Not worth the money can get way better options.

They Treat you like Family here
The staff at the Socialist treat you like family! They are all so courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in a great location, close to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I’ll be staying here again.

Staff was superb! We couldn’t have asked for friendlier, more helpful people to enhance our stay. Good neighborhood (it is noisy on weekends!) and close to so many places, including shopping, metro, nyhaven. Room was small but comfortable. Good restaurant and nice bar. Also great coffee in afternoons! Loved it here.

We liked the design of the hotel. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the wine hour and nightcap. This was an important factor in our decision to book at Herman K.

The interior in this hotel is beautiful, the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the location is perfect. Would definitely recommend the buffet breakfast as the food is delicious and you can order hot dishes from a menu. They also offer free filter coffee in the morning which is great when you go out for s stroll. We stayed in a superior double room which was super clean and had more than enough space and a king size bed. I will definitely be going back in summer.

The hotel was so cool. You walk in through giant double doors to a swank restaurant/bar/lobby. I stayed in a "tiny room" and it was indeed tiny. It wouldn't have seemed so small if the bed was smaller. I just needed a place to sleep between layovers so I was fine. And it had everything you would need. The closet was quite cleverly placed in the room. The bathroom was a good size as well. The surrounding area looked really cool too. I didn't get to enjoy it because I had to leave at 5 am the next morning to go back to the airport. I would like to go back and stay again.

Excellent staff - very helpful and charming not only checking in and bar service but also with advice and booking a table for us in a ‘fully booked’ restaurant. Small but perfectly formed rooms.

Good hotel with very friendly staff and superbly located. Rooms are small but nice, we had a balcony which was a real plus. Breakfast was lovely and happy hour wine was a nice touch. Only complaint if I'm being really picky was bath towels were small, I prefer a proper bath sheet that you can wrap round you twice and these were too small for that.

Miniature rooms with very limited amenities
Miniature rooms ( despite booking higher category ) , no minibar, difficult to reach anyone on phone, no valet parking ( dont see how is categorized as 5 star hotel ? ) Shower mixer etc semi default , Heat control / aircon can NOT be controlled from room but you have to advise reception. The good points: Nice design in entrance , bar , restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff - without exception , and top location

We have a bar open 24/7 as we do not offer mini bar in the room and all the room sizes are detailed on the website. I can always recommend a superior room and above if more space is needed. Pleasant boutique hotel
Recent boutique hotel, human-sized, great design, friendly and helpful staff, clean. My room was a bit small but ok for a business stay. Great qualitative breakfast. Restaurant seems nice too but I didn’t try it. Maybe a bit overpriced but Copenhagen is not a cheap place. I still highly recommend it.

I arrived early and they held my luggage for me until it was ready. I was offered a warn coffee Beverage for the road. When I did check in I received an upgrade, which was a special surprise. At 5pm every day is a gratis house wine happy hour as well as a nightcap hour later in the evening. The staff was so kind and it seems like a lot of locals come here. I wish I was able to stay longer.

It’s a beautiful property in a good area. And the staff are friendly. The room was fairly handsome and well appointed. The room was fairly handsome and well appointed. But it’s not really a five-star hotel when you can’t order food or drinks late night. No gym in the hotel. You have to go use a club somewhere else. One window shade broken and not repaired after three days. wet carpet where one window leaks. Overall I think it is a great property but there are kinks to work out and I disagree with the star rating.

Little room to store suitcases and clothes Not much of a view, but who cares Didn’t change soaked shower mat in two days Asked cleaner to give us amenities x 2 because we both have long hair and needed more. The rooms are not designed well. There is no where to place luggage - no luggage racks or benches, etc. The bathrooms are very poorly designed - there is virtually no where to put anything except on the 12” shelf that serves as a counter. The shower has no wall, this causes the floor to flood and everything on the wall and on the countertop shelf gets wet. The ventilation was inadequate and the bathroom stayed humid for too long, making it difficult to put on make up, etc. The mirror was also not designed for makeup application - there was a small magnifying mirror, but located too low to use. The lighting was also poor when using the mirror. The toilet was located too close to the countertop shelf as well, making you question leaving anything near it. Overall, just one of the worst designed bathrooms I have ever seen in a 5 star hotel. In addition, the air conditioning barely worked and the room stayed too warm to sleep during our entire stay, even when set on the lowest setting. We had 2 rooms in our party and both rooms were equally the same. The staff were very nice and helpful. They definitely were a huge plus. Breakfast was nice as well, as there is a limited buffet, plus you can offer off a small menu. The location is great.
