「This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

「We loved staying at the property in Calumet. It was very clean and spacious. There were many small touches that made it comfortable. We did some cooking and found the kitchen well stocked. It has been nicely remodeled to keep the 'old time' feel while still remaining usable and efficient. It worked well as a home base to explore the Keweenaw. It is walkable to the bars and restaurants. 「We enjoyed our stay here very much! It fit our needs perfectly for our rockhounding trip. It was my husband and I along with my sister and our 2 dogs. There is a nice big yard for the dogs. The cabin is rustic, which I liked and was clean and comfortable.Communication with hosts was great. We had a couple of questions and they always responded quickly. Check in was easy. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all the pans and utensils we needed. No complaints here!」

「We loved the apartment! Very clean, comfy beds, and the perfect location for access to activities: beaches and rock hunting, copper mine tours, hiking and cross country skiing trails. There was no smell of fish since the nearby fish shop was closed. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Overall a really good property at a reasonable price. With a few improvements this place would have five stars but the would not let that deter me from another stay. Plenty of room, clean house with everything you need to feel at home. My only recommendation is to get some actual bed pillows instead of the decorative ones that are on the beds.」

It's very quiet and private when we were there and we spent most of our time on the beach. The house has everything you need and is in an excellent location to go out and explore the UP while you're there.」
