"This is a very quaint boutique-style hotel located in the heart of the central historical district. It is in a Spanish Colonial house from the 1500's and has a lot of that period ambiance. They currently are serving only breakfast in the hotel restaurant, but it is a very good "American style" breakfast with eggs cooked to order, and various sides such as bowls of fresh fruit, breads, bacon, and freshly squeezed juices. Our room was not "fancy" and all of the rooms are different layouts. We had a twin room on the second floor. Our family members had a twin room on the second floor as well, but theirs had a loft bed area that was accessed by wrought iron circular staircase. So be sure to check out your room before you move in. Keep in mind for guests with mobility issues that there is no elevator and the stairs have no handrails. There is a rooftop terrace with great city views. The staff was mostly helpful, although asking for an extra pillow was like pulling teeth. I never did get one and my pillow was very thin and hard, which is not good for side sleepers like me. I also use a CPAP machine and could have used a little better pillow support. Maybe I should have mentioned that. That was my only complaint. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably-priced, centrally-located hotel, this is a good one. They also have luggage storage available, and airport shuttle service, which is basically they call you a cab when you need to go. I would recommend this hotel."

"We had a nice stay and enjoyed the breakfast many times. The staff was friendly and responsive to all our needs. Highly recommend their driver service to explore. The bathrooms and toilets were outdated and the AC fan was quite loud. The shower leaked and the liner was cloth which obviously made a mess. Outside of a few regrettable quirks this is a good hotel with a great staff. Nothing bad to say but room for improvement in the bathroom design and functionality."

"The area of the property is amazing. We stayed the night. Food tasted good and good portion. As for amenities you need to tell them before to use them, also needs attention to details and some up keep, the door to our room didn't lock for example."

"Activities were excellent…shared horseback riding, hacienda lifestyle, e-bikes. Massages (Carmen!!) were amazing. Food was ok but some orders were certainly “lost in translation”, and not well coordinated with the kitchen (make sure to come early to meals if you have an activity planned afterwards). Staff though were lovely. The room was a little small for 2 adults and 2 teens but only because we had lots of luggage from being on a 3 week vacation. Warm water bottles at night were a lovely addition. There was a lovely fire attendant that visited the room very briefly every couple hours in the late afternoon and evening. The road in/out was a little rough, but we had a driver who dealt with it well. Highly recommend this whole experience!"
