House in the woods
This is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to "get away from it all!" The house is located in a beautiful, wooded setting, with parks and hiking areas right nearby. It's peaceful and very quiet - a wonderful retreat for a couple or a small group. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful - if we could have given her more than 5 stars for communication, we definitely would have!

Lovely uplifting home
My family had a wonderful time in this home. Was most welcoming for all ages. Lots to do from games hikes sitting by the fire meditation massage bed and more. The home gives off such a positive vibe! will definitely go back

Good as a base camp, not a staycation house
Overall the property is fine. The owners are very communicative and inviting. They have a nice vibe conveyed through their spiritual nature. The location of the house is both a pro and con. The time it takes to access through winding paved and gravel roads requires planning for any activity. The remoteness is peaceful, you can hear the occasional noise from a neighbor and low hum of the hwy, only heard on the decks The house is dated both inside and out. The outside decks are fairly worn. There’s a lack of seating inside as there is none in the family room and downstairs. On the two decks there are 2 sets of camping chairs available, 1 set per deck. If you plan to use the home as a base camp for other activities that will fill your days, this place works well. If your looking to stay around the house and property the seating will be an issue especially for large groups. Downstairs is a dedicated sleeping area with multiple mattresses on the floor. It’s not an inviting space to hang out. Overall a good experience, just know what your looking for and what the house can provide.

Peaceful Place
Very nice place to get away for a couple days and enjoy with your family. Only stayed there for one night as it was a last minute trip but loved it so much. Property was easy to find and the view was everything from the terrace. Communication with the owner was excelllent.

Heavenly Getaway!
The stay at Mindful Heart was relaxing and beautiful. The retreat was plentiful for our family. Access to the scenic waterfalls was easy and a short fifteen-minute drive. Nearby was a berry and lavender farm which allowed us to pick berries and lavender to take home and share with friends. Cooking and cleaning facilities were more than sufficient to meet our needs. The directions and guidelines are easy to follow and made for a smooth departure. The owners are delightful and responsive to requests. I highly recommend this home to anyone seeking a nice getaway to the mountains with no stress. My only disappointment is I don't live close enough to take advantage of this beautiful place regularly. When I return to Northern Oregon, this will be the location I seek to stay. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy!
