Beautiful location

Perfect location for our family of 6, with 4 young kids. Mum and dad even got to relax! Kids had a ball. Stand up paddle boards were a hit. Saw dolphins from the backyard a couple of times. Magical!

Convenient location with great views

We enjoyed our stay. Great to be able to walk straight onto the beach and the sunsets were fatastic. Having paid top rates for the time we stayed we were a little disapointed with the upkeep of the property. Some easy fixes like new carpeting would go a long way.

Port Stephens

Great location and amenities. Very responsive host (they responded within hours of running out of propane fro the bbq) . We cooked in several times and the only critique we had was that the appliances, although functional, need a bit of an update for a property in this category. Otherwise, everything was as shown and would say the pictures do not do justice to the incredible sunset views we had during our stay.

The view was so incredibly beautiful and the location is so great - water straight out the front door and a 5-10 min drive to everything else. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. It’s a great place for the kids - the bay is really protected so the water is really really calm and it’s also quite shallow which was perfect for our 2 and 4 year old. We had a small issue with the ceiling fans during our stay but the property manager was very responsive and arranged to get it fixed really quickly, which we were really grateful for. We will definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property is stunning. The water is just footsteps from the back door. The still waters of the bay make it a perfect location for paddle boarding, swimming, boating or just walking along the shoreline.The house is lovely with a gorgeous alfresco dining area overlooking the bay. The house is spacious and well layed out. Has all the facilities you want for a holiday.A few minor cleanliness and maintenance issues. There were chocolate wrappers and children's items left under the beds (we were searching for missing earpods), the floor didn't appear to be mopped, a big stain on the carpet upstairs, ceiling fan wasn't working in the family area and the dirty linen was left by the door on arrival (although collected quickly once reported).Unfortunately there was a massive storm near the end of our stay which cut off electricity, internet and mobile service so we couldn't enjoy the full comforts of the property for the last 36 hours although that is not the fault of anyone. A visit by the managing agent would probably have been appropriate in these circumstances given the premium cost of the accommodation.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others.

Expensive stay ! Not value for money

Great location! Lovely beach front. Family Had a good break . Dishwasher did not work properly and leaked all over the floor. Had to manually wash up . Small dirty oven . Reviews said very clean. Not clean. Most dishes in draws were chipped and not functional as were glass. Could not cook due to dirty oven. Dirty dishes in draws . Dirty pots. Dirty showers ! Not good on holidays. I had to clean myself and mop up water from dish washer! Kitchen needs a makeover . Love the area but won’t be back to this property! Will stay at corlette beautiful spot and very relaxing. Duplex not suitable as shared access to beach and very close to other property. Not private. Feel we overpaid and deposit bond was taken much too early. 4/10 stay

Easter Holiday break

Beautiful duplex has it all. Property is very clean and spacious with unbeatable location, the beach as your backyard. Spent 3 nights and 4 days, kids said it wans't enough time which says it all.

Its a bay beach so the water was still, so good for the kids to play.Warmest water i have ever experienced so many good things about this place, woudl definately recommend and will definately go back(also fishing down the road was so good, 2 of us caught 20 fish in 3 hours :)

Lovely long weekend

This was our third stay here over the years and as previously, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at H3. It didn’t matter that the sun wasn’t out the whole time we were always able to enjoy the space. We had lots of plans to be out for breakfasts and lunches but we enjoyed the space so much we preferred to just stay in the home and enjoy it. Our kids were on the paddle boards all weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly - thank you!

Reviewer Comments: the house is exactly how it is in the photos; well managed and very tidy with the beach just few steps away. we had bbq outside while watching the sunset and we definitely enjoyed the paddle board available in the house. my niece loved the spa bath and there were 2 spacious bedrooms with tv, ceiling fan and ducted ac and a master’s bedroom with ensuite which screams both luxury and comfort. every detail of the house is well thought of and i admire the wall art pieces on every room. location is great with a shopping centre nearby and just few mins drive to shoal bay for few more water activities and mt tomaree in which the view from the top is breath taking! check in and check out is hassle free; we surely love our stay and will definitely be back

There are 3 beds and we only used 2 so if you have few extra kids you will be fine. Another positive is the location - apart from being right at the beach you 5 min drive to all the major shops, restaurants and recreational places. From 4WD at Anna Bay to Go Kart and more. Plenty to do when it's sunny and also when weather is not so good.

We saw dolphins almost every morning and evening. Place is extremely well equipped and a great layout. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and it couldn’t have been more perfect.Close enough to Nelson Bay to ride your bike or pop in by car to The Little Nel or the marina for a bite to eat or activities/shopping. Supermarkets 2min away. So many things to do in the area. Best thing though was just enjoying the beach and views. We stayed during one of the Ashes test matches, so the spotlight that we could turn on to shine onto the grass and beach was awesome for the kids to keep batting into the evening.Highly recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

Paddle board was great for some fun and beach behind the house felt so private and amazing for a holiday with a toddler.- Toboggan park was 10 mins away and everything else was within 20 mins away. Location was great.- Clean and spacious rooms. Cons:- When we went the internet was hopeless could not watch netflix or browse without constant interruption on our phones. Not sure if it was just those couple of days because we mentioned it to the cleaners as we left and they said apparently the area had some issues? - Owner lives next door and felt like big brother was watching as we got a text at 5 am and 2 am to switch the spotlight at the back of the house off. We obey all rules and maybe there should be a red tape on the light switch or instructions not to press certain light switches next time. I mean any visitor to the house would be navigating which switch turns on which light. -
