「We had a beautiful room with a balcony facing the water. We were treated to a pod of dolphins and an orca viewing in the morning. Warm and friendly home base for exploring Alert Bay. Walkable from the ferry as we went on foot. Quiet on a Sunday but exactly what we were after. We missed the summer crowds and felt like we had the bay to ourselves. Highly recommend hanging your hat at the inn.」

「Bed very comfortable, good view and location. Black mould in the windows, hot and stuffy, had to ask for toilet paper and soap, crack and hole in the bathroom sink which didn’t drain, shower just shut off mid shower, coffee pot didn’t work, housekeeping took all the plastic glasses away and didn’t replace. Check in was confusing, done at a bar by a new server who didn’t know anything. We were booked into the Sportsman Inn, ended up in the McNeill Inn, old building in need of updating. All got...

「the building itself is rather plain and ugly compared to the rest of Telegraph Cove, but luckily the view from our room was directly over the water and marina towards the beautiful old buildings and boardwalk across the way. The room was great. Comfy beds and plenty of room.」
