Very cute, nice decor, AC worked great, all appliances and TV up to date, beds were comfy, shower and water pressure great. .45 walk to the beach. Nice community. Close to food and dining. Would stay here again

There was old chewed gum in the closet. Washer didn’t work. No curtains in the bedrooms so it’s very bright early on. Had to leave two days early.

Liked: clean and comfortable Disliked: 1- difficult to communicate with, confusing online booking. I accidentally booked two separate units instead of two rooms. We never used the second unit. Yes, this was mostly my fault, so do I expect a refund for the unused unit? No. But a refund would be a nice gesture on their part. 2- we didn’t receive “Corolla Light” bracelets, which would have given us access to the really cool sports center next door.

Great location (2 mins from water sports, put putt golf, 5 mins from grocery store and tons of great restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach). The unit was lovely - modern with new high end appliances and contained high end cookware and every modern appliance needed to make me feel like I was home. We cooked most days ( healthier than eating out every meal) and it was a perfect oasis. On site pool was also fantastic. Having a washer dryer in unit made it easy to wash swim clothes etc since we were in the water almost every day.

Did a long weekend at the property. It's relatively new (2 years) and pretty modern. Our unit was clean, everything in good condition, well furnished with nice grade fixtures (not builder grade), and stocked with all the kitchen and living essentials. Entry is via keypad only (no on-site staff). There is a nice looking but small pool on property. Within walking distance to Sturgeon public beach access (10 minutes), 2 1/2 miles to Food Lion, a farm market and other shops and about 4 miles to Harris Teeter. North Beach Water Sports is about an 8-10 minute walk north. Good location overall with several things nearby that don't require a car which is nice as traffic in Corolla can be quite bad.

I would highly recommend this property. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were wonderful The decor was adorable and perfect for the beach area. There are a couple beaches within walking distance or you can drive and there is free parking. There are also grocery stores and restaurants within a short drive from the condo, including Duck Donuts. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Wife and I love it here. Stayed for our second year in a row. Love the two bedroom option. New inside and had a pack and play for our five month old. Would stay again as it’s close to everything we wanted to do during our week long stay.

Clean property and nice house. Outside grill was a good addition. Nice path through the woods to the beach. Great place for bird watching and a short drive to any kind of shopping. The best things is the 4x4 beach is only 2 miles away.

I liked the location of the property in relation to other things we were interested in seeing I loved the little patio in the back to sit and have coffee in the morning. I loved the separate sleeping quarters and bathrooms. There was nothing negative about our accommodations. We had a wonderful time.

Location was great, walking distance to the beach. The beds were uncomfortable, in that every time my husband rolled over it shook the entire bed. Housekeeping needs to be a little more vigilant as there was a mask left under one of the beds and denture tabs left in the bathroom drawer from previous renters.

We booked through Hotels.com. The host ended up being Kees Vacation OBX, through Hotels.com. To begin with, we never received an email from Kees Vacation OBX with our entry code for our unit. Secondly, there was no manager or office on duty. I called Hotels.com upon arrival for the code to get inside. The customer service rep with Hotels.com initially didn't understand that there was no office or manager on duty. He had difficulty initially reaching out to Kees Vacations. Finally, they called me and said they've sent an email that morning. No emails were received, nor sent to my junk folder, by Kees Vacations until the day AFTER we returned home from our vacation. In that email, it shows our checkout day was "yesterday" and even listed the WRONG address of our stay. We stayed in Corolla, NC and their email gives us an address to Nags Head, NC. (45 minutes to an hour away from one another!) 🙄 As for check-in, once the Kees Vacation representative called after I reached out to Hotels.com, she verbally gave me the code. We entered the unit in Corolla. It was nice but a few issues included were: We killed 3 wolf spiders indoors; we had ants on our countertop DAILY (5 days) and had to keep all food put away; the floors were FILTHY; and the master bed was like sleeping on concrete. With no office, manager, or email from Kees Vacations for contact information, we were unable to get our issues resolved during our stay.

We liked that the kitchen was fully stocked and that the unit had everything we needed. The floor plan and the amenities are well thought out. Didn't like that the view was of the parking lot, but that wouldn't deter us from staying again.

Our stay was very nice. I do wish there were a few more towels, wet dishes left in dishwasher and the grill was not cleaned. Other than that, no issues or concerns. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this property. The check-in process was not as smooth as it could have been. I had to call to get the email (it was not in my junk folder) with the check-in code, and beware that Google Maps will lead you slightly astray when finding it. However, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. The place is well-insulated, no issues with bugs, humidity, noise, or anything else. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern and clean. The kitchen is one of the best-stocked in the OBX, in my option--we had access to everything we needed, including containers for leftovers. They also included some laundry detergent, Keurig pods, and dishsoap. The places looks and smells brand new. Some construction on other units is taking place, but we had 0 issues with that! Highly recommend this place, especially because we were able to book a partial week.

We had an amazing stay at Beacon Quarters in Corolla, NC. The unit was clean, fresh new decor and the perfect size for 4-6 people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make your meals for the week. We look forward to returning soon.

Awesome experience, wish we could have checked in before four. Other than thought place was perfect for our family of three! While we could walk to a beach, we chose to drive so we could pull a wagon filled with kid toys/pool to the beach daily. Was close for our family needs! Thanks for the experience.

Overall, the condos are nice. Not too far from the beach and they are fairly new. Some minor inconveniences include: Landscaping - the chairs and table on the patio block the paved path to the door. We just ended up having to walk on the pebbles to get in or out of the door. Same problem to get to the grill/outdoor shower/hose area. A door mat wouldve been nice on entry into the condo so sand/dirt didn't get scattered throughout. The condo wasn't stocked with cleaning supplies so we ended up buying floor cleaner, multipurpose spray and extra kitchen towels/wash rags. We noticed ants by an outlet (by stove)the first night we started cooking. I called and left a message but never heard back. We just made sure to not leave any type of food on that area of countertop. We really did enjoy the condo and the property is very nice. In my opinion, it needs to be stocked like a bnb would as most people are probably there longer than a few days. We'll look to stay again in the future as I'm sure these problems could easily be taken care.

Great stay in Corolla.
Our stay was great. The condo is nicely finished and decorated well. They had a nice selection of dishes and cooking utensils, a gas grill for our use and having a washing machine and dryer is great when you’re at the beach. There was a smart tv in each room as well as in the living room. It’s new construction so still really clean and updated. If their cleaning staff can keep it up it will be a place we’d go back to. It would have been nice to have a table and chairs on the small patio like other units have, but not a deal breaker. The back sliding door didn’t lock, but had a wooden rod to jam it. Perhaps something they just haven’t been back to finish. It’s obviously not that long since the unit has been finished. They are currently constructing others in the complex. An issue with an easy fix that the complex needs to take care of is the directions. Navigation systems show it to be at around 821 (that’s where the pin is) when the actual address is 1017. So if you go just know you need to keep driving and you’ll find it. The actual units aren’t on the beach, but have a really nice 5-10 minute walk, mainly on walkways, so easy access. Didn’t have to contact them for maintenance, etc. so don’t know how responsive the managers would be.

Overall I have to say i was impressed with the condo. It was very cute and just what we needed. We had one small water issue with our heat pump. Which someone fixed very quickly. Although it is still an active construction site because they are building more condos. We were lucky they had a plumber on site. Not much communication about checking in or out, but we were lucky there were people around working that could help us if needed.

The property was half filled so the pool was nice to have with little to no people.. the construction workers tried to hit on me as I was unloading my infant from the car which wasn’t cool. The porter potty next to the pool sucked especially when they came to clean it out.. (stinky) once the construction is done it will be better. The cleaning service needs to be better however there was a broom and mop + laundry in there I was able to use. I would come back for sure now that I know what to expect.

This was such a nice place! I loved the area and the cottage. The communication with management was the worst I have ever experienced. We had no cable for 5 of the 6 days and I even tracked down a worker on the property. Emailed at least 8 times and called and left messages at least 5 times. If you needed something or couldn’t find the place you are in trouble because it takes days for a response.

Went there for a 30 anniversary trip, the unit we we’re giving had no a/c and was 85 degrees in the condo and 95 degrees outside . Call customer service and was referred to maintenance, well maintenance was a joke . We were told that there was nothing he can do that it was a weekend, and to call back customer service. Well after sweating for 6 1/2 hrs and fighting to get moved to a different unit, they finally got us to another place. Well the unit they gave us was not cleaned, sex stains on the bedding and no clean sheets or towels. My wife and I were up till 1:30 am washing and cleaning linens and towels for us to sleep on . On of the worst weekends I’ve ever had
