Mermaid Cottage offered us all of the room & amenities that we needed for a wonderful week’s stay in Corolla. The layout was perfect and the accommodations were just right for four adults. Being close to the pool, ocean & nearby restaurants, shops, golf course etc was just we were looking for..

The walls and floor were filthy. The walls needed washed or painted. We mopped the floor ourselves. Two out of the three beds had dirty linens on them. Thankfully we were able to remove them and use what we had that was clean. The grill was not in good condition to use. Location and pool were excellent.
