Management and staff were exceptionally pleasant. The only complaint I have is the shower downstairs needs to have hotter water and a longer curtain to prevent leakage. Also the metal staircase is small and too dangerous for the elderly or small children

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was cute and spacious. I loved the bunk beds for the kids,and the gate at the top of the stairs to keep kids from trying to go down stairs. The pool was a good size. There is a big 3ft section perfect for kids. The location is close to the beach and several good restaurants. We caught fish off the private pier and saw dolphins come in as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nicely renovated condo but it is advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 bath, that was not the case. There are 2 bedrooms and the upstairs hallway with built in bunk beds- the bunks are not a room- no closet or anything. The size of that space is ok for smaller kids, but if you’re expecting teens or adults to use it, not ideal. Also, all sleeping quarters are upstairs with 1 bathroom: the larger (what used to be the master bath) is downstairs- no en-suite for the bedroom with the king size bed. Our stay was comfortable and the condo was very clean but had I known the nuance with the rooms and bathroom I likely would have picked a different rental since we had to couples and a teenager in our party.

Safe, Decent Size, Bad View

This was one of the few places available at the dates we gave, for the number of people we took. For that I'm grateful. We had fun in town and made memories together. However, the pictures are misleading as to space, and more importantly, view. Unless you bring binoculars, there is NO VIEW of the canal from this particular unit. Others in the complex maybe, but this one is positioned behind the other buildings which DO face the water. So at best, you see people grilling their hot dogs in the courtyard. Your best bet for a water view is the residence fishing pier behind the pool, or the public one two blocks over. We saw a spreading of the ashes at the public one, that was pretty cool. But the balcony does not have a good water view. At all. I felt extremely misled when I arrived, but as I mentioned, options were few. The living/kitchen area floor was filthy, our bare feet often looked like we walked through soot, it was as if the floor hadn't been mopped in weeks. The kitchen was SUPER spacious though, and well stocked with utensils. It made prepping for dinner and storing snacks/drinks very easy. A tight spiral staircase leads to all sleeping areas except for the pull-out. I would not recommend this unit for heavyset guests, or over age 60, just because of the difficult navigation. I'd also suggest a higher lip in the downstairs shower, or at least a longer curtain. As a whole, good communication, we were safe, we slept, but no view. Far from our best stay in Port A.

Weekend getaway

Condo was clean and perfect for family of 4. Pool, fishing, and bbq pits were available and coveniently located throughout the area. Location was great, close to the beach and many nearby restaurants and businesses. Would definitely stay again.

We were given 4 towels for 4 people for 4 nights. That is a bit ridiculous. Dryer took 3 hours to dry one load. I would not stay here again and would not recommend to people.

Great experience. Easy access to the Property Owner and very helpful with the local surroundings. Amenities were well kept and clean. Location was central, so most restaurants were in walking distance.
