Take some getting use too....

The property is beautiful and clean. There's no shades on the windows upstairs and the shower is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"feet. Putting in a handheld shower head would greatly help short people as I had to stand against the wall to get wet.Also, maybe add 2 more kitchen towels.Would stay here again.

Dirty, needs a thorough deep clean and attention to upkeep. Disappointed in our stay. Saving grace was the pool and poolside service.

Great location, beautiful decor, well stocked

This was a beautiful property in a fantastic location. It was decorated wonderfully, was fully stocked with everything we needed, and was close to all the amenities. Though it was meticulously clean, there was a very pervasive stench of cigarette smoke throughout the house which made it smell musty and smoky- even our clothes came home smelling like cigarettes. Despite that, we will definitely be booking to stay again next year because we had a fantastic time!

We will be back!!!

Absolute dream trip to Port A staying in and on this property!! My daughter was crying when the time came to leave. We will be back! The location was perfect to town, beach, pools, and corpus. Pools were sparkling clean with delicious food and drinks. The servers were adorable and very attentive at Pamilla. Getting in was a breeze as was operating all tv’s, kitchen appliances, bathrooms, and WiFi. The porch was comfy while watching a storm pass!! The kids and we slept so soundly at this property. There was a loud unit nearby (we were not the complainers) but we got a reminder text about it (wasn’t us!) and it quieted immediately we noticed. We met wonderful people with beautiful families that made our trip even better. Thank you Vacasa for such a wonderful experience at Palmilla!!! We can’t wait to be back!!!

Needs Blinds

Entire main floor of the house has no privacy. Not a single blind of any sort. You are sandwiched between other casitas, so blinds are definitely necessary. This is the first house I’ve stayed in at Palmilla that has no blinds. Crazy. Open view to neighbors, not to mention you are surrounded by construction workers. As a group of females, this was uncomfortable to say the least. The beds were comfy, but the kitchen needs a decent sized cookie sheet at least. We couldn’t even fit a pizza on it, and there was only one. I would not choose this casita again.

We had a group of 8 families in different homes on the resort. The homes were nice and resort was great. We really did like our house a lot, but the cleaning was not good. One family had broken dishes in the cabinet, and ant infestation in the BED and kitchen, filthy furniture. Ours was a bit better, but floors weren't cleaned, food and crumbs every where. The place had a cigarette odor. I have rented from Vacasa before and always been happy. Hoping this is just a fluke. I hate to complain, but we spent a lot of money. I also know the mosquito issue is not anyone's fault, but when the infestation is that bad I think spraying the resort like they do in Mexico should be done. It literally ruined many peoples vacation. Every person walking down the side walks looked like they were running from a swarm off bees. It was the talk of the entire resort.

Location is perfect. Home was immaculate. The beach was amazing. Overall a great place. I had someone from Vacasa I was able to speak with if I had any questions. Their response was prompt and helpful. The only suggestion I have for the owner is to place a white mat or lights and the bottom of the staircase. The last few steps blend in with the flooring and 2 people in our group fell at different times during our stay. So beware of that if you rent this place. Also the bunk in the second room is not practical. The ceiling fan is too close and our son kept hitting his head on it. Not a big deal, just be aware it's not useful for an adult. Otherwise it's a great home. Very pleased with our stay

September stay

The property was beautiful! The problem we had, was that the master bedroom’s wall outlets didn’t work. We have to use a medical device while sleeping. We called Tuesday morning to Vacasa to let them know. No one ever responded back. Wednesday evening we called to check what was going on. Finally, someone came and fixed it. Had we not called several times, this wouldn’t have gotten taken care of. Also, the home other than the bathrooms, have to blinds of any kind. Guests staying next and across from us can see clearly into our home as we could see into theirs. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay. Not sure we I’ll stay here again though.

Beautiful Beach Casita

We took our kids down to the beach for a little after Christmas surprise and had the best time. The property is lovely, but much smaller than we expected. It was a little tight for our family of 5. The kitchen being on the second story is fine, but there are no window coverings on the 2nd floor which makes for very sunny mornings and the feeling of everyone watching you in the evenings. Overall it's a lovely property that could just use a few little improvements to make it perfect!

Wonderful home close to boardwalk!

This stay was so clean and modern. The master bedroom is small but the double Queen bunk bed room was spacious. The bunk beds were the most solid built bunk bed I’ve ever seen. Mattresses were very comfy and we’re used to tempurpedic!
