Great Location for Family Stay

Great space for two families with young kids. Close to the beach. Unit is on the end with reserved parking close by which was nice when we were hauling all of our stuff in and out.

We were able to walk to the beach, the pool was only 5 feet at the deepest (which is great for our kids who are still working on mastering swimming), and the property was filled with friendly families. The company didn’t listen to my explanation so when they sent someone to fix it, he fixed the door that wasn’t broken. We were unable to lock our front door for a full day. The place has the bare and I mean bare necessities. 1 roll of paper towels for a 4 day stay. 1 towel per person and only 1 laundry detergent. Bare essentials in kitchen. Overall good stay but these little things could have made it better.

There was plenty of room for our family when they visited. There is some noise from the street so if you are a light sleeper you might want to choose a different unit. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. Padre Escapes was very helpful when we had questions.

There was more than enough space for the bride, her 3 bridesmaids and two flower girls- children of 2 of the bridesmaids. Space for all to get ready, sort the flowers on the island and dining table, etc. This unit was lovely, clean, convenient to the wedding location on the beach. Everyone raved about this unit the most. Everyone also loved the view of the water from the bedroom upstairs. Was a perfect choice!

It Was not the Worst.

Over alll it was "fine" but really cheaply firnished and only very bare minimum in the kitchen. In addition we had these issues: Fan in bunk bed room is ridiculously loud. Remote doesnt work in laster bedroom. Living room remote didnt have a back so batteries kept falling out. Ice machine in fridge didnt work at all, despite maintenance trying to fix it. Futon is terrible. Seriously 2 bars poke your back! Towel rack in main room keeps falling. No dust pan with the broom Dirt devil doesnt work Back door does not close right Front door has a huge gap. Master bed is hard as a rock.

A bit disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was what I expected but I was disappointed that the light under the vent/over the stove was not working. One of the kitchen lights was also out. It was hard preparing meals in a dimly lit kitchen. The beds were uncomfortable and loud. If you moved the mattresses made a loud sound. The toilet in the master bedroom was clogged and slow draining. We avoided using it. The blinds in the doors were tricky to use and seem to be breaking down. Given that we were there 5 days/4 nights we did not have enough towels. Thankfully we didn't have the 10 people the unit is advertised to accommodate or we would have been sharing damp towels. I got detergent and washed the towels so not a huge deal. A universal remote control would be easier to use versus the 3 remotes in the living room. I also couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher but that may have been operator error. The location made up for the inconveniences. Close to the beach but not so close that there is sand everywhere. The reservation process seems to be automated so easy enough.
